Chapter 33 The Young Girl Had Matured
While Jasper was driving in the opposite direction with Eileen, he decided to turn around at the upcoming traffic light. At that moment, he received a message from Eileen asking, “Jasper, where are you?”
Jasper had always kept his mobile phone with him, eagerly waiting for her messages, and whenever he saw one, he would reply promptly.
However, this time he turned off his phone.
The driver glanced at the rearview mirror and asked, “Is it a message from Miss Swan? Did she suspect something?”
“I think so… But I don’t want to lie to her,” Jasper neither confirmed nor denied.

Out of habit, Eileen opened the co-pilot’s door but then paused and decided to sit in the back. instead. As soon as the door opened, she heard Eric’s cold voice say, “Eileen, I’m not your driver.”
Startled, Eileen quickly switched to the pa*senger seat and fastened her seat belt before Eric could come over.
At the same time, she noticed the items she left in the car were gone, replaced by a pair of bobblehead dolls-a man and a woman that could bobble their heads. They were adorable, and something Vera would like.
She also noticed a change in the car’s scent. Eric must have known about Vera’s motion, sickness and put on a perfume that refreshed the mind and prevented motion sickness.
Taking in these changes, Eileen turned her head, looking out the car window with a neutral expression. “Eric, don’t you need to pick up Vera?”
“Vera lives on campus.”

Vera lives on campus?
Eileen was a bit surprised at Eric’s willingness to let her live there.
“Why does Vera live on campus? I thought your apartment wasn’t far from her school.”
Eric explained, “I’m usually busy with work, and I can’t take care of her properly. She had to do all the cleaning and housework by herself. I was worried it would affect her studies, so I suggested she goes back to school and come home on weekends.”
Eileen wasn’t very interested in their matters, so she replied casually, “Well, that sounds like a good plan.”
After a brief silence, Eric asked again, “Did you have your piano lesson today? Are you tired?”
“Not at all, the teacher was great,” Eileen replied.
Eric glanced at her sideways and noticed that she seemed absent-minded during their conversation. He frowned slightly and asked, “Eileen, do you find it annoying when I ask too

Eileen could sense a hint of dissatisfaction in Eric’s tone and wondered why he felt that way. “No, not at all. I appreciate that you care about me.”
Eric noticed that Eileen was wearing loose clothes that did not fit well, and they looked like. men’s clothing. He asked if she had worn her school uniform today.
Eileen looked down at her outfit, realizing that she had forgotten to change out of her school uniform. “Yes, I wore it, but the button on my school uniform came off. A cla*smate lent me these clothes, and I have to return them later.”
“Was it a guy who lent you the clothes?” Eric inquired without hesitation.
Eileen nodded and didn’t hide the truth. “Yes, it was.”

“No,” Eileen hurriedly denied, “He’s just a friend of my cla*smate.”
“It’s normal for girls to develop feelings for someone when you’re a teenager. You’ll encounter a few people you like along the way. If you ever have problems with relationships. in the future, you can always come to me, your brother,” Eric a*sured her.
“Thank you, Eric,” Eileen replied.
As they chatted, Eileen remained cautious and alert. She felt that if she let her guard down, she might be easily influenced by Eric’s charm.
Upon arriving at Undella Mansion, Eric parked the car in the garage. Anxious to leave, Eileen tried to open the car door but realized that it was still locked.
Her heart skipped a beat, and her senses heightened as Eric suddenly drew closer, emanating a strong, masculine presence that enveloped her in an instant.
Eileen caught a whiff of the delightful fragrance on his b*dy and nervously asked, “Eric….. is there something else?”
Eric gently held her face in his hand, his thumb brushing against her soft l*ps, leaving a trace of pink. Eileen instinctively pulled back, afraid to make any sudden moves, her eyes. betraying evident fear.

“Are you afraid of me?” Eric asked, his eyebrows slightly raised.
Eileen managed a wry smile, “No, how could I be afraid of you? I really do care for you…”
“Care for me?” Eric’s eyebrow arched further. “How much do you care for me?”
Care for him? What was she even saying?
She wished she could take back her words.

Eileen felt her lies were poorly thought-out.
“Don’t apply the chapstick anymore. This color doesn’t suit you,” Eric advised.
Eileen’s striking facial features and bold beauty made her easily stand out and leave a lasting. impression on others. The subtle pink hue on her l*ps, resembling the allure of a peach blossom, only enhanced her captivating charm.
