She had underestimated Eric’s ruthlessness. Despite her desperate pleas, Eric showed no
mercy.
Consequently, Eileen was compelled to put on the undergarments, one after another, her face devoid of any expression. She then sat on his lap, wearing the last set.
The thin layer on her lower half was already completely soaked.
Eric displayed the transparent fluid to her, smearing it on her chest. “Do you want it? Beg me, and I’ll give it to you.”
This was their agreement, and even without it, Eileen knew she couldn’t escape today.
Eileen wrapped her arms around herself, shivering uncontrollably. Even with the windows shut, she still felt cold. After being mostly n*ked for over half an hour, her l*ps had turned pale.

Seeing her motionless, Eric’s dark eyes hardened, his gaze falling on the glaring bloodstain flowing down from between her legs.
Eileen groaned, “It hurts…”
Without hesitation, the man quickly cleaned her up, wrapped her in a coat, and drove her to the hospital.
Zachary was awakened by a phone call. He took off his gla*ses with a throbbing headache and pinched the bridge of his nose. “Eric, are you out of your mind? Stop calling me in the
middle of the night!”

Eric had never felt so fearful before and wondered if he had gone too far.
He barged into the examination room, a place where even family members were typically not allowed to enter. Unfortunately, Zachary couldn’t stop him.
Eric personally conducted the examination of Eileen’s private area. As he looked at the computer, Zachary tapped his leg. He circled a spot with his pen and said, “This is where the uterus used to be. After its removal, the original site was stitched up. However, the inner wall was agitated, and the wound has reopened. I’ll prescribe some medication later. After taking it for a couple of days, she should be fine.”
Eric frowned. “What are the chances for a successful uterus transplant?”
Zachary made an “X” with his arms, decisively saying, “It’s impossible. There hasn’t been a single successful case in the entire country.” Zachary was also extremely tired. He stood up and patted Eric’s shoulder. “Stop thinking about it because it’s simply impossible. Actually… isn’t it better not being able to have children? After all, you and she were never meant to have descendants. Even if you did have a child, there’s a chance they could have mental challenges.”
Eric shot him a stern glance, and Zachary raised his hands in surrender. “Alright, I’ll stop talking. Oh, by the way, she’ll wake up after a while, so give her some sugared water then.”
When Eileen woke up, she found an IV drip in the back of her hand. The familiar scent of disinfectant filled her nostrils, and as she looked up at the Blake ceiling, she knew she was in a hospital.
Outside, it was already dawn.
Eileen seemed to have remembered something as she propped herself up in bed. “I have an exam today.”
“It’s just an exam, and you’re already late,” Eric said, placing a cup of hot water on her bedside table.
“Am I late?” Eileen, looking particularly disheveled, stared at the clock on the wall. It was already nine o’clock. The exam was scheduled for eight-thirty. Her gaze went vacant, her eyes slowly blinking a few times.
Suddenly, Eileen started laughing as if she had gone mad, clutching her own hair. She tried to calm herself down, but no matter what, she just couldn’t.
“Hahaha… This is just too hilarious, Eric… Have you seen what I’ve become?” Her demeanor suddenly shifted, becoming more like that of a crazy person. With reddened eyes, she looked at the man sitting beside her while pointing at the clock. “If I have to live under your revenge for the rest of my life, then what’s the point of me changing? What’s the point of me living? No one in this world loves me; only I love myself. I thought I had tried hard to change

Seeing her in this state, Eric had never felt such unbearable irritation.
“Eileen… I’ve said it before-this is just the beginning. If it weren’t for your so-called sympathy and your meddling, perhaps none of this would have happened. Since it can’t be changed, why not just accept it?” He toyed with her long hair.
“No! Don’t touch me!” Eileen screamed hysterically.
Just then, Zachary knocked on the door. “Hey, you two, arguing won’t do any good. How about taking a break? Eric, I need to talk to you about something.”
Eric glanced at her, then got up and walked out. At the door of the ward, Zachary fl*pped through Eileen’s past medical records in his hand. “Did you know Eileen had severe depression before?”
Eric answered, “And?”
Zachary raised an eyebrow, realizing Eric was clearly clueless about the situation. “People with depression need to take medication to stabilize their emotions, otherwise…”
No sooner had the words left his mouth than a nurse pa*sing by suddenly let out a piercing scream. “Dr. Xenos, come quickly! She’s about to jump off the building!”
Eileen had stepped onto a chair and had already climbed onto the windowsill.
Almost immediately, Eric rushed into the ward, watching as she leaned forward without any hesitation.
Zachary simply watched all of this unfold with indifference.
I didn’t expect her to give up so easily!

In the final moment, Eric reached out and grabbed her hand. They were on the fifteenth floor, so a fall from this height would undoubtedly be fatal.
Eileen looked up, her eyes filled with despair. The thought of ending her life had come without warning, a common symptom among those who suffer from severe depression. They did not fear death but saw it as a form of release.
Thoughts of death would constantly surface in their minds, like a demon whispering sweet
temptations.
