Chapter 9 Do a DNA Test
Bridget looked at the person in front of her and said coldly, “Ms. Proctor, did you just hear one-sided stories before doing things? We haven’t asked about what happened, but you’re making a judgment. It’s not appropriate, right?”
Bridget walked straight toward Hayden. “Hayden, what’s going on?”
Hayden raised his head, aggrieved, “In the voting for the national flag bearer, I had the highest number of votes and was chosen, but Ms. Proctor suddenly gave this title to Royce.”
Kaylyn hugged Hayden. “This is unfair to him.”
“You know nothing” Abby snorted, “People aren’t born equal. Royce has always been someone that everyone looks up to, and of course, he wouldn’t participate in such a voting. If he did, he would definitely win the most votes.”
Bridget’s face sank. “Since you chose to vote, why did you designate him to be the flag bearer?”
“I…” Abby became nervous.
Yasmin suddenly laughed, “This kindergarten is run by the Moyer family, so how could Royce not have this title? And even if this is unfair, he can’t steal. That’s a crime!”
“I didn’t steal anything!” Hayden shouted indignantly, “Royce came to apologize to me after knowing about this matter and lent me this toy!”
After Abby publicized the name of the national flag bearer, Royce, who was in Cla*s 1, came to him.
The uniform looked like a suit on Royce, and he apologized in a
gentlemanly manner. He said that he would tell his father to return the title to Hayden.
Royce also lent Hayden his favorite toy for the day.
At that time, Hayden felt that Royce wasn’t so annoying, but how could he have such a bad mom?
“That’s impossible.” Yasmin said with confidence, “This toy is customized. It’s an expensive gift from his father. Royce doesn’t let anyone else touch it, so how could he lend it to you? Ms. Proctor, not only did this boy steal, but he lied! A boy with immoralities like him is bound to become a villain after he grows up!”
Customized… Bridget was hurt in her heart. She clenched her fingers and said coldly, “Ms. Proctor, what about Royce? Shouldn’t we hear what he has to say?”
“He has gone home.” Yasmin said, “How could Royce condescend himself to come here as a witness?”
Anger had been rising in Bridget’s heart. “Ms. Proctor, you convicted my son without even asking Royce about the truth just because he is from the Moyer family and that his status is superior?”
Abby was annoyed, “Mind your words. If you’re not satisfied with the solution, you can ask Hayden to withdraw from the kindergarten.”
“He will definitely do it because you’re running the kindergarten under the pressure of a rich family.” Bridget confidently said, “But he won’t withdraw as a thief.”
Abby froze.
Abby thought that by mentioning the Moyer family, Bridget would be fearful and apologize. She did not expect to meet a tough opponent.

She asked, “What are you going to do?”
Bridget said firmly, “Since you can’t get Royce over, then, I’ll call the police.”
She took out her cell phone and prepared to call the police.
Yasmin was flustered. She came to pick up Royce today on a rare occasion, but she didn’t expect to see Hayden, so she caused trouble behind Royce’s back. If Bridget called the police, the Moyer family would know about it.
She said, “Fine. Let’s pretend that he didn’t steal anything. If you call the police for this small matter, it will damage the kindergarten’s reputation.”
‘Since Ms. Stout is not pursuing this matter, then it’s settled.” Abby hastened to be a peacemaker.
Bridget said aggressively, “So, you admit that you slandered Hayden. You have to apologize to him now!”
Yasmin clenched her fists. “Bridget, do you think you can threaten me by calling the police? I was just joking with Hayden. How did I slander him?”
The people in this room were all her men. She could just refuse to admit it.
When Bridget entered the door, she began to record. When she was about to click on the recording, she heard a timid voice. “I…”
A few people turned their heads, and they saw Kaylyn raising her hand. She weakly said, “I can prove that you defamed Hayden.”.
“Do you not want your job anymore?” Abby glared at her.
Kaylyn sobbed and said, “I was useless. I didn’t help Hayden get the flag bearer. If I don’t speak up for him, I’ll fail my duty as a teacher.”
Bridget was speechless.
She had known that her son was outgoing and had a lot of friends in kindergarten, but she did not expect things to be like this. Kaylyn used her career to defend him!
She looked at Yasmin. “Apologize.”
Yasmin’s angry face turned livid, but if she didn’t apologize, things would get bigger. She gritted her teeth and said, “I’m sorry.”
Hayden squared his shoulders. “What did you say? I couldn’t hear it.”
“I’m sorry!”
Bridget turned on the recording. “If you fire Ms. Pacheco, I will call the police.”
Yasmin and Abby immediately felt nauseous as if they had eaten a cockroach.
Bridget no longer paid attention to the two and looked away, “Hayden, let’s go.”
“I’ll see you off.” Kaylyn followed them.
They did not see that Yasmin’s eyes became as gloomy as that of a viper.
After they went out, Kaylyn said with a guilty face, “Miss, you’ve offended the Moyer family, so I’m afraid that no kindergarten in Nalpure dares to accept Hayden.”
Hayden held her hand, “Ms. Pacheco, I’ll tell you a secret. Do you
know who my father is?”
“Who is he?”
“Nigel Moyer. After he recognizes me, I’ll come back and let you be the principal!”
Kaylyn looked at him with complicated emotions and rubbed his head. “Hayden, I failed to teach you well. You don’t have to compete with Royce. In fact, your father’s name is not important, working hard is. In the future, you have to rely on yourself to make achievements.”
Hayden still wanted to explain, but Bridget had picked him up and stuffed him onto the back seat. Hayden had been shouting until Bridget turned the corner. “Ms. Pacheco, I will be back!”
Bridget said, “Stop pretending.”

Hayden was lost in thought.

Hayden sent another message. “Is he by your side? Ask him about it!”
Royce was in Cla*s 1. Hayden didn’t know him.

Kristy, who received Hayden’s message, had her pupils contract. She looked up in fright at Royce, who was sitting across from her seriously.
She was shy, and she frowned.

Royce raised his head and looked at her!

Royce was confused.

Kristy was wearing a white dress and obediently sat on the sofa. She was still holding the dinosaur doll with her head lowered. Long eyelashes cast shadows on her face. She held a large phone with small hands to text.
