Chapter 15

SOFIA

My head throbbed. It wasn’t so much of a hangover as much as it was being woken from deep sleep with the banging noise, but there was a certain relief looking at the man standing in front of me

‘m home,He says, his expression a little weird, all his initial anger having faded away

I’m

Okay.I replied softly, and then yawned again

You reek of alcohol,he commented

I blinked. Did he just wake me up to let me know he’s home and have a basic conversation with me? Do I?I asked, breathing my clothes. I had showered, and I wasn’t smelling of alcohol

Hm,” he nodded, leaning on the door frame. Drinking alone?”

No, I went out with friends.”

He cocked an eyebrow. Friends?”

I nodded

I thought he would ask where I suddenly got new friends from, but instead, he asked: Friends as in plural?”

Yes, plural. As in two.” Eyebrows narrowed, I stared at him. What was going on? What was this line of questioning

Okay.”

Okay,” I repeated. In the days he was gone, I spent a lot of time wondering how it would be like when he came back and the first time we talked after our k*ssbut I hadn’t imagined this

He

e stayed silent, and it didn’t seem like he wanted to say anything further. Um,I hesitated, So, goodnight?”

No.He shook his head, straightening up and taking a step into my room

I was in my pyjamas, but at least they didn’t happen to be tiny shorts like last time

I took reflexive steps back while still facing him, and he just walked in further. “Did you like k*ssing me?”

What?”

Gabriel stood near my bed, crossing his hands in front of his chest. I k*ssed you, Freckles. You k*ssed me back. I’m asking you if you liked it.”

My lips parted in surprise and I didn’t miss the way his eyes flickered from my eyes to my lips

Oh, I remembered how he tasted…

I played with the hem of my top, trying not to look at him. “1I did”

A smirk played on his lips as he took a step towards me. Yeah?”

Mhhm.I wasn’t a shy girl, but he made me feel nervous. He made me feel everything at once every time he was fear

Don’t look away when I’m looking at you, Freckles His voice was low, forcing me to look up at him

He was standing in front of me, both his hands reaching out to hold my arms on either side, his thumb drawing circles on my bare skin. I shivered under his touch. You like it when I k*ssed you, yes?”

I gulped, biting my lower lip, bobbing my head in a barely visible nod

You want me to k*ss you again?”

My breath hitched

Tell me, freckles. His eyes wandered from my eyes, to my lips. Did you dream of it when I was gone? Did you think of it again? Of all the things I could have done to you?”

His right hand was now behind my waist, holding me closer, his left hand makes its way to my skin, tucking lose tresses of my hair behind my ear and then letting his thumb trace the freckles under my cheek, all the way to my lips

I shut my eyes, breathing heavy

Talk to me, Freckles. Tell me if you want it.”

Opening my eyes to look into his brown ones, I could feel the shivers down my spine, the wetness below, his touch driving every sense in me insane. 1I thought about it.”

What did you think about?”

The k*ss,I mumbled, And you.”

His left hand dropped to my neck, instantly making me miss his touch on my skin. My lips. The way his thumb had tucked

in my lower lip

Good,he smirked, Because that’s all I thought about too- the k*ss

and you.”

Saying as much, he bent down. I knew what was coming, so I shut my eyes and tip toeing, I met him midway I placed my lips on his, holding his face, one of my hands slipping into his hair to pull him further inside me

He tasted the same he has that night- minty, but without the vodka

One of his hands slipped from my waist to my ass, giving it a squeeze and then staying there, his fingers dangerously close to my inner thigh. If he slipped his hand a little inside, he’d find me wet. So wet, for him

I gasped when he pulled me on top of him after sitting on the edge of my bed, and then I climbed on top of him without breaking the k*ss

Chapter 15

I didn’t know why we were doing this, or where this was going. But I wanted him to k*ss me. I wanted to touch me. Everywhere, all at once. I wanted him. Inside me. His fingers. His tongue. His d*ck. Everything

We pulled away, gasping, and I had to get off him as he shifted. But my eyes widened when he got up from the bed. What’re you doing?I hastily asked

Going to me room?He blinked his eyes, feigning Innocence

I was still gasping for air. What? Why?”

I told you, Freckles. If you want more, you’ve got to ask for it.”

I breathed heavily

I k*ssed Gabriel, again

No, he k*ssed me, again..

And then he stopped, again

He left me wet and messy, again

This was getting annoying

I wanted more

Jesus, I wanted more

I want more,I accepted out loudly and so quickly that it was almost embarrassing

His eyes darkened. Good. I was beginning to think you’re not going to ask.”

Shut up,I huffed, pulling him closer to me by his shirt and he smirked before taking it off, turning me to pin me to the wall this time before bending his head and k*ssing me again, more hungrily and devoutly than he had before

His Wife (A Contract Marriage Story) by Heer Mangtani Summary

I wiped tears from the corner of my eyes, hoping nob*dy saw me weep, and that the mascara didn't run because of my unending tears. I was miserable, still in disbelief believe that the first time I was going to see my husband-to-be was when I'd walk down the aisle, and he would be waiting for me at the end of it.  At least, I hoped he would be there, and that he wouldn't elope. Not because I wanted to particularly marry him, but because being stood up at the altar in front of the whole world would be very humiliating.
