Max thought that was impossible because Charlotte and Joe got along well.

“I want to design a suit. Please teach me how to do it.” Charlotte looked at Max
solemnly and spoke.
Max was thinking when he heard Charlotte’s words. He paused and said, “Well,
no problem…”
Max’s mind raced. “Do you want to design a suit for Mr. Smith?”
Charlotte coughed, and her eyes wandered. “Yes.”
She had the idea when she started to create the clothing brand. She planned to
ask for help from Grace but didn’t expect Max to take the initiative to go to her
office. Therefore, Charlotte would take the chance.
Max touched his nose. “There is no problem. When do you want to start?”
“Tomorrow. I’ll ask Frank to prepare something. You can tell him what you need.”
Charlotte thought about it and made a decision.
Max had no objection to that and hurriedly prepared with Frank.
When it was time to go home, Joe came to pick up Charlotte. He was surprised
to see Max. “Why is he here?”
Charlotte told Joe about Max’s self-recommendation. Joe laughed after he heard
that. “You talked about hiring someone a few days ago. Then, someone came to
your office.”
As he spoke, he placed a few business cards before Charlotte.
Charlotte picked them up and took a look. Her eyes were filled with appreciation.

Those were some business cards of some famous designers at home and
abroad.
Since Joe placed the cards before her, he had contacted them and even had a
preliminary agreement with them.
Charlotte only occasionally talked of finding a designer to Joe a few days before
and didn’t expect him to take it seriously.
Charlotte felt great.
Charlotte stood up and took the initiative to k*ss Joe on his cheek.

“That excuse won’t work.” Charlotte straightened her clothes and glanced at Joe.
Just as she was about to say something, Grace called her.
“Are you going to create your brand?” Grace didn’t mince words and asked
straight to the point.
Charlotte guessed the design masters had leaked the news. She admitted, “Yes.”
“What do you think of me?” Grace became excited. “You have seen my design
drafts. Why not let me join your brand?”
“Are you sure?”
Charlotte had never thought about Grace from beginning to end. With Grace’s
status, she could easily create her brand. Even if she didn’t want to run it,
professional managers could help her.
