But the moment she lay in bed, she felt like a wanderer who had finally found
home, and she relaxed all over.
She didn’t know when she fell asleep, only remembering that it was pitch dark
outside when she closed her eyes. When she opened them again, it was
already broad daylight.
After freshening up, she went to the balcony and saw Ben and Anna playing
in the garden.
Perhaps worried about disturbing Charlotte, the two children were very quiet.

are the ones who should be damned!” Catherine said fiercely.
Behind Catherine, Huxley also came over, pointing to his face, “Do you
remember me?”
Charlotte looked at him carefully for a moment before shaking her head
silently, “Sorry…”
Huxley let out a deep sigh.
He patted Charlotte on the shoulder, “Don’t apologize, as long as you are
alive, we will eventually become familiar with each other.”
Charlotte felt a lump in her throat and a tear rolled down her cheek.
Charlotte knew that she should give some response to the other party at this
moment, but she felt as if she was wrapped in something and couldn’t give
the response they wanted.
Seeming to sense Charlotte’s discomfort, Catherine and Huxley didn’t stay
long. After offering some comforting words, they hurriedly left.
Charlotte watched them walk away and lowered her eyes slightly.

Just then, Ben and Anna also ran over, holding flower pots in their hands with
great joy, and presented them to Charlotte, “These are flowers we planted
ourselves, and they finally bloomed today! Mom, this is for you!”
Seeing the innocent smiles of the two children, Charlotte felt even more

She gave a slight smile, took the flower pot with both hands and sincerely

Ben and Anna looked at Charlotte and smiled, “We hope Mom can recover
soon and remember us as quickly as possible!”

be a day when she could.

After Ben and Anna left, Joe arrived.
Unlike her indifferent attitude toward the previous two groups of people,
Charlotte visibly felt uneasy.
She hesitated and looked at Joe, “Are you also here to comfort me?”
Joe paused, shaking his head, “No, our wedding photos have arrived…”
“I would like to see them,” Charlotte took the initiative to say, “Maybe it might
jog some memories.”
What she didn’t say was that she wanted to find some happy memories from
these photos.
