Chapter 760 The Unknown Past
For the current Charlotte, he was just a stranger claiming to be her husband.
Their past had been forgotten by her. To ask her to accept him immediately was
an impossible task.
Joe let out a deep breath, “The place where we are staying is quite large. If you
want your own space, I can make sure people stay out of your way.”
“It’s just, you just went through a life-threatening situation, and I would feel more
at ease if you stayed with us.”
Joe looked at Charlotte very seriously, “Also, Ben and Anna miss you a lot.”
“Ben and Anna?”
Charlotte looked at Joe in confusion. For some reason, hearing those two
names stirred deep and intense emotions within her.
Joe’s heart stirred slightly, and he nodded gravely, “Ben and Anna are our
children.”
“What?” Charlotte’s eyes widened, “My… children?”
She tried to search for any memories of her past, to find any clues from that
blank space.
But no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t remember anything.
She felt like a blank piece of paper that had long been filled with stories by
others but could see nothing herself.
A sharp pain stimulated her brain again, and Charlotte couldn’t help but pale and
covered her forehead again.
“What’s wrong?” Joe quickly hugged her and said in a deep voice to the driver,
“Go home as fast as you can.”
Seeing Charlotte in pain, Joe was filled with anger.
No matter who caused Charlotte to be like this, he would make them pay.
On their way back home at full speed, Vincent Pope was already waiting in the
mansion.
When Joe called him, he only mentioned that Charlotte had a headache but did
not mention the amnesia.

“Who are you?” Charlotte whispered.
Vincent’s smile froze on his face.
He looked at Joe in confusion, “What happened?”
“When I found her, she had already lost her memory and occasionally had
headaches,” Joe briefly introduced Charlotte’s symptoms, and Vincent’s
expression became more serious.
“If it was done on purpose… it might be very dangerous,” Vincent said solemnly
to Joe.
The human brain is already the most complex thing in the world, and once
damaged, many effects are irreversible.
He took a needle to draw some blood from Charlotte for a test.
Half an hour later, the test results came out.
It turned out that there was a special drug in Charlotte’s b*dy.
Although it was not clear what the drug was, it was certain that Charlotte’s
amnesia was closely related to this drug.

Vincent hesitated and glanced at Joe. He wanted to talk to him privately, but

completely fine and healthy.”
“Why does she always have a headache then?” Joe asked.
Vincent looked serious and said to Charlotte, “Since there are no brain issues
and considering her amnesia, I suspect she was manipulated through
psychological means, causing her to lose her memory and was given a
psychological suggestion.”
