The door to the VIP room was violently pushed open, revealing a well-dressed
but slightly disheveled woman who cried out to them, “Please, save me!”
Sharon was about to refuse when Joe suddenly stood up, looking at the woman
in disbelief.
“Get lost!”
The thugs behind the woman wanted to reach out and grab her, but Joe sternly
stopped them.
The thugs understood that anyone sitting in the VIP room was not to be trifled
with. However, this woman was also one of the auction items this time, and they

left the area.
Dylan, holding the investigation results, turned his gaze to the visibly frightened
woman.
He instructed the waiter outside the door, “Take this lady to freshen up…”
“Wait.” Joe stopped the waiter and turned to Dylan. “Can you perform a
paternity test here?”
With these words, even Sharon was shocked, not to mention Dylan.
“What’s going on?” Sharon was well aware of Joe’s background. “She can’t
possibly be your daughter, can she?”
Joe couldn’t possibly have a daughter of that age.
Joe’s voice was ice-cold, and his gaze was unwaveringly fixed on the woman in
front of him. “She looks exactly like my mother.”

The teacup in Sharon’s hand shattered on the floor. He stared wide-eyed at Joe.

Sharon examined the woman closely, confirming that she was very much alive
and breathing.

personnel to collect samples.

“Everyone else is here for business, but unexpectedly, you came here and
experienced all the services,” Sharon quipped.
After the paternity test, Dylan had a server escort her to another private room.
“Keep a close eye on her; make sure she doesn’t escape.”
Joe watched her departing figure, feeling like he was in a dream. How could
someone who had been dead for over a decade suddenly appear?

Joe with information about the four people in the surveillance. “These people
are all part of Halcyonland’s underworld. After taking Charlotte, they put her into
an all-black car and then disappeared.”
