Chapter 706 Two Kids Suddenly Disappeared
They followed the staff into the cave, and the originally spacious cave suddenly
split into three paths. The staff signaled for them to choose one.
Ben and Anna hesitated at the cave entrance for a long time. Just as they were
about to make a choice, a group of young people suddenly rushed out from
somewhere, laughing strangely and running into another entrance. They
haphazardly chose a fork in the road and disappeared into it.
Joe furrowed his brow and steadied Charlotte. When they turned around, they
found that Ben and Anna had disappeared without a trace.

Charlotte was greatly alarmed. She immediately shouted Ben and Anna’s
names loudly at the cave entrance, but there was no response.

wall.

The radio kept calling out Ben and Anna’s names, hoping that they would hurry
to the entrance and reunite with their parents upon hearing the broadcast.
As they ventured deeper into the cave, Charlotte’s palms grew increasingly
sweaty.
She kept moving forward almost mechanically, not daring to stop for a moment.
Images of news stories about missing children she had seen in the past kept
flashing through her mind. She couldn’t bear to imagine what she would do if
anything happened to Ben and Anna.
Large beads of sweat formed on her forehead, and Charlotte became more and
more nervous.
At that moment, a sound as beautiful as the music echoed, “Mom!”
Charlotte widened her eyes, thinking she might be hallucinating.
She held her breath and carefully listened, confirming that it was indeed Ben
and Anna’s voices.
Charlotte immediately had a start.
She didn’t even have time to call Joe; she hurriedly ran in the direction of the
voices.
After running for an unknown distance, Charlotte finally saw Ben and Anna
sitting dejectedly on some rocks not too far away, repeatedly calling for their
mom.
Upon seeing her two children, Charlotte felt as if she had come back to life.
She stood there, gasping for air, tears welled up in her eyes. Her gaze was fixed
on her two children not far away, and she reached out towards them with
trembling hands.
She opened her mouth but couldn’t make a sound. Her throat tightened.
She pinched herself hard, and finally, Charlotte managed to croak, “Ben! Anna!”
The initially dejected Ben and Anna immediately looked up, their faces lighting
up with joy as they rushed towards Charlotte, shouting, “Mom!”
Being tackled by her two children, Charlotte finally felt that her world was secure
at that moment.
She held them tightly and examined them from head to toe, asking, “Are you
two hurt?”
Ben and Anna quickly shook their heads, snuggling into Charlotte’s embrace.
