As rounds of applause erupted, the organizers of the Wolkin competition presented a list of finalists.
Seated in the audience, Lisa’s gaze was unswervingly fixed on the thin sheet of paper, her fingers clenched into a fist.
According to the rules, twenty individuals would advance to the finals among the submitted architectural designs. An
international panel of judges would then determine the ultimate allocation of the gold, silver, and bronze awards.
Previously, Charlotte had obtained the gold award from Wolkin.
Perhaps due to the commotion at the entrance or the prestige of being a former gold medalist, Charlotte could feel
countless eyes cast upon her, carrying subtle scrutiny.

Suddenly, a figure emerged from somewhere, rushing fiercely toward Charlotte.
Charlotte’s reflexes were lightning-fast. She grabbed that person’s arm and swiftly brought her down to the ground.
Securing her grip on the person’s arm, she took a closer look and confirmed that it was Lisa.
In her current state, Lisa appeared frantic, her eyes bloodshot and her mouth continuously roaring, “Let go of me!
Charlotte, it must be your dirty tricks that got me robbed of my spot! Claiming you informed the organizers early is all lies!”
