To Charlotte’s surprise, the next morning, Sharon found Joe’s apartment.
The moment Joe saw Sharon, his heart darkened.
“What are you doing here?” Joe supported himself on the door with one hand. He did not welcome Sharon.
Sharon seemed to have sneaked out of the hospital. He was wrapped in bandages of all sizes, and his face was covered
with bruises, which attracted the attention of many neighbors.
“Of course, I’m here to see Charlotte. Otherwise, would I come to see you?” Sharon glanced at Joe with disdain.
Joe raised his eyebrows and was about to close the door when he was stopped by Sharon.
