Derek said proudly, “I forgot to tell you that your meddlesome a*sistant is now in our hands.”
Hearing his words, Charlotte stopped walking completely. Beside her, Joe and Mandy both looked at her strangely.
Charlotte didn’t have time to explain to them and asked Derek sternly, “My a*sistant? How could he be in your hands?”
