Sharon went to help Charlotte out in person.
Looking at him, Charlotte said helplessly, “Anyway, I just escaped from death. You look like I haven’t been rescued yet.”
Sharon glanced at her and said, “You were a smart person when you were in the Clinton family. How did you become a
fool after returning to the country? How could you be kidnapped?”
The domestic guns had always been strictly controlled. Charlotte never thought that Cowper had a gun in his hand.
She turned to look at Sharon and asked, “How is Mandy? Is she all right?”
