Chapter 213 The Children Were Missing
In the eyes of Jack, Joe had always been an emotionless workaholic. Even Wendy, who was widely spread to be Joe’s lover in the outside world, had not received too much favor from him.
To put it more accurately, Joe seemed to have an inexplicable. sense of responsibility towards her. However, since Wendy wanted his love, he had no choice but to care for her.
Of course, this feeling changed after Charlotte went missing for a period of time. He only felt that Joe had become colder after that.
After Charlotte became the chairman of the Horizon Group and returned, Joe’s mood began to change significantly. Although this change was mostly due to anger, his changes in mood were very rare in Jack’s eyes.
Even though he was sitting in a private room on the second floor, Jack could clearly feel that Charlotte was surrounded by men who were eyeing her covetously.

After hesitating for a moment, Jack decided to get up and go downstairs to have a look first.
Seeing his action, his friend quickly cheered, “I didn’t expect that Jack, who has always been only interested in work, would also take action when meets a beauty!”
Jack glared at them grumpily. What did these people know? He did it for his Job!
He quickly walked downstairs and entered the dance floor but did not see Charlotte anywhere.
“Who are you looking for?” A beautiful woman with long hair and red l*ps approached him with a chuckle.
Jack was stunned. He vaguely remembered that this beauty seemed to have been dancing just now beside Miss Clinton and hurriedly asked, “Did you see the Miss who was dancing with you just now?”
The beauty raised the corner of her mouth and smiled. “Are you talking about that Miss? I saw her going that way.”
The beauty pointed out the direction. Jack was about to leave after thanking her but was stopped by her. “You may not be able to find the way and I can take you there.”
Jack nodded without thinking too much.
The beauty led him to a deserted place and soon arrived at the back door of the bar.
Jack frowned and asked, “Are you sure you saw her coming here just now?”
“Of course… no.” Mandy’s sweet voice sounded. Before Jack
could react, she knocked him out.
She casually threw Jack at the back door and smiled. sarcastically. “I have noticed that you are a bad guy. You are unlucky to fall into my hands.”
After that, she simply turned around and left.
After leaving, she happened to meet Charlotte, who had just come out of the bathroom. “Let’s go.”
Charlotte inexplicably felt that Mandy’s mood seemed to be much better than when they came. She asked curiously, “Did something good happen?”
Mandy smiled faintly. “I was lucky enough to catch a bad guy.”
In the next two days, Joe did not appear again. Before Charlotte could breathe a sigh of relief, she received an anxious call from the kindergarten leader. “Hello, Miss Clinton, Ben and Anna… are missing!”
“What did you say?!” Charlotte immediately stood up. She frowned and walked out. “What’s going on?”
The leader of the kindergarten, Mrs. Fox, told the matter quickly.
The location of their summer camp was by the sea. There should have been a beach volleyball competition in the afternoon, but after all the children were ready, the leading teacher found that Ben and Anna were missing.
They searched everywhere and also contacted relevant
personnel from the hotel to search together but could not find
their trace.
