However, Charlotte was unable to invite Joe for a meal in time because she was too busy.

As the youngest student in her year, Charlotte was naturally assigned a performance right away.

“Are we really going to let one person ruin the entire performance?” Wendy also insisted.
She looked around and asked, “Are you willing to let Charlotte not perform, or are you willing to take the
risk of the entire performance being ruined just to let her go on stage?”
Many members of the performance group lowered their heads.
