The waiter glanced at me and quickly flashed a standard smile, “Very well, sir.”
He then walked up to me and asked, “Miss, what type do you like?”
I glanced at the man who had already sat down in the rest area, resting with his legs crossed. I couldn’t help but twitch at the corner of my mouth. After all that fuss, he just brought me here to buy clothes?

I couldn’t figure out what he was thinking, and I was too lazy to guess, so I simply started talking to the waiter, saying, “As long as it’s comfortable to wear.”
The waiter nodded and began to guide me around the store to make selections.
Shopping for clothes, it seemed like I hadn’t done this activity for a long time. During this period, I almost forgot that I was also a vibrant woman in her prime, just like other women, who liked flowers, shopping, gourmet food, and having fun.

“Miss…” The voice of the waiter came from beside her ear.
I snapped back to reality, seeing her looking at me somewhat flustered, holding the clothes in her hand and saying, “If you don’t like it, you can look again, or try something else.”
Realizing that I was seriously distracted, I quickly shook my head, gave her a forced smile and said, “No need, this set will do.”
As for me, clothes were nothing more than something to cover the b*dy, nothing else mattered.
“Let her try on a few more sets!” Ezra, who had been sitting in the rest area with his hands interlaced under his chin and his eyes half-closed, spoke up as he watched us.
The waiter quickly nodded, turned around to fetch more clothes, and handed me the clothes he was holding, directing me to try them on in the fitting room.

Ezra, sitting on the sofa, glanced at me and made a sarcastic remark, “Tabatha, your figure is really pitifully skinny.”
Seeing the waiter holding back laughter, it was somewhat embarra*sing.
I gave him a cold glance, ignored him, and went to try on other clothes. After roughly figuring out my size, the clothes that the waiter brought fit me much better.
After trying on a few items, I was somewhat tired. I then looked directly at Ezra and said, “I don’t want to try anymore, I’m tired.”
Seeing this, Ezra stood up, took out a card from his pocket and handed it to the waiter, saying, “Pack up everything she just tried on and send it to this address.”
He gave the waiter a card, which presumably had an address on it.
After explaining, he looked at my clothes and frowned slightly, “It’s a bit ugly, but it’s much more pleasing to the eye than what you wore before. Let’s go.”
I frowned, avoiding his attempt to grab my hand, saying, “I need to change it back.”
He raised an eyebrow, “Throw away that outfit, it’s so ugly it hurts the eyes.”

Seeing that he still had no intention of leaving, I felt somewhat annoyed and said, “Ezra, I’m tired, I need to rest.”

I was somewhat bewildered as he led me to buy several pairs of well- fitted shoes. He also forced me to wear a pair of high heels. Although the heels were not high, I really didn’t want to wear them. There was no reason, I just felt it was too tiring.
Almost two hours later, we finally came out of the mall. Looking at my new clothes, new shoes, and a series of jewelry, I once doubted if there was something wrong with Ezra.
Frowning at him, I asked, “Did you like dolls when you were little?”
He found my words baffling, started the car, gave me a cold glance, and said, “Speak clearly!”
Rubbish!
I gave him a glare, holding back my anger, “Why would you make me look like this if you don’t like me?” Other than being pa*sionate about dressing up dolls, I couldn’t think of any other reason.
