Not seeing Sweetie, I felt a lump in my throat, suppressing all my emotions and glaring at her, I said, “Where’s the other cat? Where did you put it?”
Geraldine cast a disdainful glance at Kitty, who was curled up in the corner, then turned to me, her face full of contempt. “You’re talking about that annoying old female cat, right? It’s dead, in there. It almost scratched me. Not tearing it to pieces was letting it off easy,” she said.
I just felt a lump in my throat, struggling to breathe, and quickly stepped into the room. The house, which was neat when I left, was now in a complete mess, filled with smoke and dust. Sweetie was lying motionlessly in a bucket in the room, from which a faint mist was rising.

I looked up at her, she was holding her arms, looking at me with indifference, and said, “Why are you staring at me? This little beast almost scratched me, scalding it to death is letting it off easy.”
Anger and resentment robbed me of my ability to think for a moment. I put Sweetie down on the ground, stood up, and stormed over to Geraldine. I grabbed her hair and, using almost all my strength, pushed her down to the ground, wildly tearing, biting, and pinching at her.
“Ah…Madman!” Geraldine, caught off guard, fell to the ground, struggling and cursing.
If possible, there was a moment when I really wanted to kill this ignorant woman, but her reaction was quick. Before I could vent my resentment, I was pulled away by her people.

Geraldine didn’t look at me, she just stared at Kitty, observing its bloody b*dy. Seeing Kitty struggling out of fear, she furrowed her brows and said, “Its legs still seem quite strong, chop them off.”
I held my breath, incredulously staring at this woman, wondering how she could utter such words so casually.
“No…don’t, don’t hurt it, it…”
“Meow!” Not a single word of mine was heard by her. Kitty’s two legs were brutally chopped off. No matter how much it struggled, how much it screamed, it was no match for the two ferocious strong men.
