Giving a knife as a gift, it was my first time seeing such a thing. My tense mood eased slightly. I looked up at him and said, “It’s my first time seeing someone give a knife as a gift, thank you. However, I haven’t had the chance to prepare a New Year’s gift for you yet.”
He chuckled, unconcerned, saying, “You’ve already given me quite a lot.”
