Chapter 279 Spending the Night in a Mountain Cave
I subconsciously glanced at the handsome man beside me, my voice involuntarily dropping a few notches, “Mr. Monroe.”

The rain outside was getting heavier, mixed with the harsh sound of the wind, and I was increasingly worried about my mother and Alexander.
“Eat something,” Daniel said, handing me a bag of bread, his voice somewhat low.
Taking the bread, I nodded, looking at him and saying, “Thank you.” Seeing that his complexion was a bit off, I couldn’t help but ask, “Are you okay?”
Sebastian had been driving all day, and not long after he sat down, he started to doze off. Hearing my words, he looked up at us, also noticing the unusual color on Daniel’s face.
Startled, she asked, “Sir, what happened to you?”
