I smiled and said, “Alright, once I’ve recovered, I’ll treat you to a meal.”

Looking at the number on the screen, I couldn’t help but wonder, how did he suddenly know my number? Feeling very dizzy, I didn’t think about it anymore. I put down my phone and lay on the bed with my eyes closed.
Rachel brought in quite a bit of food and sat down next to my bed, whispering, “Tabatha, are you asleep?”
Hearing her voice, I opened my eyes and looked at her, meeting her gaze. She grinned and said, “If you can’t sleep, get up and eat something. Alexander has told us all about it. I propped myself up against the head of the bed, took the lean meat porridge she handed over. Probably I was really hungry, it smelled so good that I couldn’t help but start eating.

I pursed my l*ps and muttered a word of thanks, feeling full and drowsy. Overcome by fatigue, I couldn’t help but lie down on the bed, ready to sleep.
Seeing that I was indeed tired, Rachel didn’t say much more. She packed up her things and prepared to leave.

I smiled lightly, asking. “Any plans for today?”
Mother came out with freshly steamed shrimp dumplings and put them. on the table, saying, “I asked Alexander to accompany me to Dracview. Mia’s wedding invitation was sent a few days ago. I originally thought that you had an accident and wouldn’t go, but seeing you like this now, I feel relieved. So I plan to let Alexander accompany me. After all, we’ve been friends for decades. It wouldn’t be appropriate not to go.”
