Gianna maintained a serene smile and replied, “Yes, that person is me.”
“How can they insult you like that! I’m going down to talk to them!” Billie, evidently the most impatient of the three, exclaimed.
“I’m going too!”
“Count me in!”
“No need,” Gianna responded, “Those with pure hearts will recognize the truth. As long as the people who matter to me don’t see me that way, it’s enough.” Seeing how they were protecting her, smiles appeared on Gianna’s face.
Gianna inquired about many other things, such as what they might need for their studies, a*suring them that she had deposited money into their accounts to ease their financial burdens.
She instructed them not to reveal her identity as Lady Cute Cat and then arranged for security to escort the three children away from the building.
After seeing the children off, Gianna received a call from Maverick.
He had been traveling frequently lately, all at Gianna’s behest, as he carried a sense of guilt and willingly followed her wishes.
In the call, he first berated the media for their unethical fabrication, then comforted Gianna, a*suring her not to worry, and finally expressed his desire to return to the country.
Gianna chuckled quietly for a long while, cleared her throat, and agreed.
She asked him to return to Dubai once his business in Mandester was concluded, so he could attend Bill’s birthday celebration in a few days.
Maverick hung up the phone, overjoyed.
Chaim entered the room once again.
Seeing Gianna with a smile on her face, Chaim appeared visibly relieved. “There’s some business with the board. I had planned to stay with you for two days, but I have to leave today. This time, I’ll be going back with Jonathan, and Thiago will keep you company.”
Gianna pressed her l*ps, resting her chin on the desk. “Thiago can be quite noisy at times.” “You won’t get bored with him around.”
“Well then, Chaim, Jonathan, do your best.”
It seemed that Chaim needed to return due to stock price concerns, and Gianna didn’t want to keep him.
Around noon, Erwin was concerned that Gianna might not want to go out for lunch given her mood, so he arranged for a Michelin chef to come to the Empyrean Group offices and prepare a meal using fresh ingredients.
Seeing that Gianna had a good appetite, Erwin felt rea*sured.
Chaim had just instructed him to pay close attention to Gianna’s mood and make sure she was happy.
In the afternoon, Gianna had a video meeting with Liam from Valken Group to confirm that their joint venture project had not been significantly affected.
They discussed upcoming plans and then wrapped up for the day.

The security team was on high alert, forming a human barrier to keep any unwanted individuals at bay. They had also stationed guards around the building to prevent a repeat of the morning’s incident.
Erwin pulled up in a red Porsche, with four security company vehicles positioned both in front and behind.
Gianna gracefully got into the car and was driven away.
The reporters behind them looked utterly bewildered.
“What’s going on? Wasn’t our script supposed to be Mr. Chaim Lewis despising her and kicking her out of the Empyrean Group building, so we could seize the opportunity to take some pitiful photos. to mock her?”
“Why does it seem like he values her more?”
“She’s got some tricks up her sleeve!”
“So, are we leaving or not?”
“Lady Cute Cat hasn’t shown up yet!”
“Let’s wait a little longer for those three kids.”
Near the Lewis House, the surroundings were nestled in the mountains, ensuring privacy, and it was now fully guarded, making it nearly impossible for even a fly to get in.
As soon as Gianna entered the house, Thiago eagerly offered her a pair of sl*ppers to change into.
It was hard to imagine that the mega–superstar, in the eyes of the fans, would actually bend down and voluntarily help Gianna change into sl*ppers.
Seeing Thiago’s expression, it was clear that he had received a warning from Chaim over the phone. “Thiago, you’re being a bit too enthusiastic today.”
“It’s all Chaim. He kept reminding me several times on the phone. How could I dare not listen to him?”
After dinner, Gianna lay on the couch, staring into space.
“Thiago, I’m so bored!”
“We can’t go out right now. Let’s do something else.”
Gianna sat up, her eyes shining. “How about we play a game?”
“That’s a good idea!”
The two of them headed to the house’s game room, which was equipped with top–of–the–line computers.
Gianna and Thiago started playing a MOBA game called “League of Winners,” which had nearly eight hundred million registered users worldwide.
After only a couple of rounds, they were completely crushed by the opposing team.
Gianna slumped in her gaming chair, feeling exhausted. “Thiago, we’re terrible at this. We need some backup.”
