Chapter 67 That’s Right
“Levi, trust me. Mom and I are like this because of that bitch.” Alaia was afraid that Levi didn’t believe it, so she blushed with anxiety.
Sienna was about to stand up to continue. However, she was so excited that her eyes dulled, and she fainted again. Alaia quickly supported her.
Gianna had long been used to the trick. She smiled sarcastically and said toughly, “Well, that’s right.”
Not wanting to talk too much to them, Gianna turned around to go back to her room, but Levi blocked the door.
Gianna frowned and took a step back to distance him. She said coldly, “Get out of the way.”
Levi looked at Sienna and Alaia, who seemed pitiful, and the pendulum in his mind swung over to their side.
“How long will you continue to be angry?”
Levi’s eyes narrowed, and his tone was cold.
Gianna thought that was the funniest joke she heard that day. “Why am I angry?”
“Didn’t you do that to them because you had been bullied in the Rivera family?”
“Stop flattering yourself.” Gianna, shook her head. “How could I waste my time on someone I am disgusted with?”
“If you were so proud, why did you do that to me?” Alaia shouted and supported Sienna, who had fainted again.
“You were courting death. You kept badgering me like flies. How could I not satisfy you?”
Gianna glanced at Levi coldly. “Take good care of your family, so they won’t always come out and disgrace you. If they continue to be arrogant, they will enjoy more than removing makeup with water in the toilet.”
Levi looked at Gianna coldly but remained motionless.
“We used to be husband and wife. Do you have to speak so harshly?”
“I’m sorry. I had finished all the sweet words before we divorced.” Gianna lowered her head and smiled. When she looked up, her eyes were full of disdain and ridicule. “If you want to hear that, go to Ms. Naomi Turner.”
“Levi, how dare she say that to you? Teach her a lesson!”
“Levi, slap her in the face to help me vent my anger.” Sienna came around again. Although she felt better, she pretended to be weak to force Levi to slap Gianna, so she seemed weaker.
Levi was furious but couldn’t even say a harsh word, let alone slap Gianna.
He couldn’t reprimand Gianna like he did before. It was he who pushed Gianna further and further away.
“Levi, why are you blocking the door?”
Maverick suddenly showed up. When he saw the scene, he pulled Gianna behind him to protect
her.
Then, he turned to ask her worriedly, “Are you okay?”
Maverick–had read the news about the Rivera family and had some idea of the Rivera family’s

attitude toward Gianna. Seeing the three besieging Gianna, he was afraid she would be bullied. Seeing Maverick, Gianna was stunned. Then, she became calm. “I am quite OK. Thank you, Myers.”
Mr.
“It is an affair of my family and has nothing to do with you.” When Levi saw Maverick protecting Gianna, a cold look flashed across his handsome face.
“You have divorced. Gianna is no longer a member of the Rivera family.” Maverick refused to give in. “Her business is mine.”
Jealousy surged through Levi. “Although we divorced, she was once my wife.”
“Levi, once! You know it.” Maverick became louder and louder.
“You guys continue. Anyway, I’m not the one who will feel shameful.” Gianna gave up returning to her room and walked out with her arms crossed.
“You bitch, come back! I haven’t taught you a lesson.”
Maverick confronted Levi. When he saw Gianna leaving, he quickly followed her. “Gianna, where are you going? Take me with you.”
Levi stared at the two people leaving together with mixed feelings. He looked lonely.
Gianna left the exhibition and kept wandering, not noticing Maverick silently following her.
The cool night breeze made her head clear.
Gianna was disappointed in the Rivera family. However, she couldn’t remain peaceful after suffering so much.
She reached the overpass and watched the traffic stream. When she turned around, Maverick stood upright behind her, holding a handkerchief.
