Chapter 45 Maverick Is Coming
Gianna sat calmly on the chair and smiled, “Carried into the ambulance yesterday and discharged from the hospital today, huh? Your physique is truly remarkable, Mr. Morgan.”
“You must be joking, Ms. Lewis. I’m also afraid of delaying the company’s business operation, you
know.”
Enrick still had thick gauze wrapped around his head, and he was still wearing a hospital gown under his suit jacket. Without shame, he said attentively, “I remember that I hadn’t told you about Valken Group’s inside stories yesterday, so I hurried back to the company.”
Gianna gestured at the sofa with her delicate chin, signaling Enrick to have a seat.
This man truly asked for a beating. He refused to say anything when someone asked him properly, but after a beating, he approached them to personally deliver the information instead.
“Valken Group’s nanorobot project has matured today, which coincides with Empyrean Group’s medical development project.”
Impatience flashed in Gianna’s eyes. She rubbed his forehead and said sharply, “Tell me something more useful, or get lost.”
Enrick trembled all over upon hearing this. Knowing that Gianna’s threat was real instead of being all bark and no bite, he immediately picked up the key point and said, “Valken Group has approached Rivera Group to establish cooperation, and they are running through the signing process these few days.”
“Rivera Group?” Gianna was surprised.

“The information I received stated that they will hold a small interview in two days at a racecourse in the outskirts, as well as to finalize the contract.”
Gianna spun the gold fountain pen in her hand before looking up and asking Enrick, “Is the source of the information reliable?”
“It’s absolutely reliable! I can guarantee it!”
“Hm.” Gianna closed her eyes, seemingly acknowledging it.
If someone like Enrick could get to know such high–level confidential information, that person must definitely be at Valken Group’s top management.
Having brought disaster upon himself, Enrick knew better than anyone the result of playing tricks on her again. It was not as simple as breaking a rib.
“Ms. Lewis, if the project with Valken Group is established, I have a heartfelt request,” Enrick said flatteringly.
Gianna seemed to have guessed since the beginning. “Do you want to join this project?”
“Ms. Lewis is truly brilliant. You could even foresee my way of thought.” Enrick continued to flatter.
Gianna stopped looking at him and saw him out with a cold voice. “I understand. You may go.” Once Enrick had carefully closed the door, Gianna pondered for a moment and decided to attend this interview.
In Silver City, as long as one was doing business, they would inevitably run into Rivera Group.

Gianna unlocked her phone to check the headlines and found that the trending topics about the Rivera family immediately disappeared after three days, and several marketing accounts were also blocked.
Rivera Group’s official account issued a statement to directly deny the contents of all three trending topics.
Gianna sneered, and her expression gradually became even colder. They were clearly trying to cover it up. If they cared so much about their reputation, why did they do those scandalous things in the first place?
Suddenly, the head of the investment project department knocked on the door and came in to hand over the documents.
