Gianna didn’t understand it!
Before she could think about it carefully, Levi walked towards her along the corridor. He darkened. his eyes and clenched his hands as he glanced at Gianna standing next to Shawn.
Jason, who was following his boss, instantly sensed the tension between them. He coughed and hurriedly greeted Gianna, “Hi, Ms. Lewis!”
Gianna raised her eyebrows slightly and turned around in surprise.
Then she saw Levi standing not far behind her, and he was looking at the closed door of the operating room at the moment.
“Gianna, the Turner family has already gone bankrupt. Are you still not satisfied?”
Levi’s tone was unfriendly. It seemed that he wanted to confront Gianna for the Turner family’s
sake.
Gianna narrowed her eyes. “Mr. Rivera, are you standing up for the Turner family?”
“Of course not!” Levi hurriedly denied it, looking at Gianna.
Levi stared at Gianna. “I just hope you can stop here!”
Gianna sneered. “When we were in Colobiye, I thought it was strange that you stopped me from investigating Susan. Now that you are here again, does it mean that you have always known who the woman posing as Susan is?”
Levi didn’t dodge the question.
He replied honestly, “Yes, I know who she is..
“Gianna, please believe me just once! Don’t look into her any further. It will do you no good. No matter who the woman posing as Susan is, I will not let her hurt you!”
Levi thought this was his commitment to Gianna.
But in Gianna’s eyes, it was extremely ridiculous.
“Levi, don’t you think what you said is ridiculous?”
Levi turned sideways and stopped looking at her anymore. He said slowly, “Gianna, I once promised someone to look after the Turner family, but now I have eaten my word. So, no matter what you do next, I hope you won’t hurt Simon anymore.”
“Mr. Rivera!” Jason quickly interrupted him.
He knew that Levi cared about Gianna very much, but those words would only hurt Gianna and push her further and further away from him.
“Mr. Rivera, I’m afraid you used the wrong word,” Shawn retorted, pulling Gianna into his arms. “At least we never thought about doing anything to Mr. Turner, and what happened today was merely an accident.”
“It’s just…” Shawn paused. He seemed to have everything under control. “Mr. Rivera, you appear to be afraid of us investigating the woman posing as Susan. Do you have any dark secrets? Do they have anything to do with her?”
Shawn said word by word.
Levi snorted, with an angry look on his face. “You’re thinking too much.”
Shawn curved the corner of his mouth, raised his eyes, and looked at Levi. Two men with the

At this time, the door of the operating room was opened. A doctor came out with an anxious look and asked loudly, “Which of you is the patient’s family member?”
Levi was the first to react. Ignoring Shawn, he strode forward. “I am his friend. How is he now?”
