Maverick looked her up and down, teasingly saying, “Really? You don’t look like it at all!” 

Thea stomped her foot in anger, but Maverick seemed indifferent and even stuck his tongue out at 

her. 

It completely irritated Thea. 

“You’re a man in your thirties!” 

Maverick couldn’t stand it anymore and retorted, “Who’s in the thirties? Speak clearly!” 

Thea regained her advantage and stuck her tongue out at him before pulling Gianna inside. Maverick, getting angry, followed closely behind. 

“You little brat, open your eyes wide and take a good look! Where do I look like someone in his thirties?” 

The two of them argued incessantly, neither willing to concede. 

Gianna thought these two were such fun together. Surprisingly, they seemed compatible in some 

way. 

As she was lost in thought, Lily’s voice unexpectedly rang out. “Gianna.” 

Gianna was taken aback. “Lily, what are you doing here?” 

At that moment, Gideon, who accompanied Lily, quickly introduced, “Lily and I have been good. friends for many years.” 

Lily chimed in. “Yes! Gideon said it was all thanks to you this time regarding Thea’s safe back. Who knows how much trouble she would’ve caused if it weren’t for you!” 

“Yes! My daughter is stubborn, but I can tell that she trusts you. I hope you can look after her more in the future.” 

“Mr. Watts, I will.” 

After the conversation, Lily pulled Gianna aside and asked softly, “Gianna, how are things going with you and Shawn recently? Why haven’t I seen you two coming back together?” 

Gianna felt awkward and quickly explained, “This time, I came back to Flenning a bit rushed, so I didn’t have time to say hello to Shawn.” 

Lily started to worry. These two young people had been together for so long, yet they hadn’t sparked any romance. 

Although she already regarded Gianna as her daughter-in-law, it still required mutual feelings for the relationship to work. Otherwise, what would she do if such a good daughter-in-law were snatched away? 

She got an idea. 

Quickly changing the topic, Lily hurriedly said, “Gianna, there’s something I need to trouble you withTM” 

“What is it, Lily?” 

Lily continued, “Lucas and I plan to go to Simartie recently, but Shawn’s birthday is in a few days. We don’t have time to celebrate for him. Can you do me a favor to celebrate his birthday?” 

“Shawn’s birthday?” 

Gianna calculated the dates and realized Shawn’s birthday was three days later. 

Shawn’s birthday was June 18th, and today was already June 15th. 

“Is that okay, Gianna?” Lily looked at her expectantly. Gianna pondered silently about her plans, then nodded. 

“I see, Lily.” 

Lily was relieved. She had made up her mind that on Shawn’s birthday, she would step up her efforts to match the two of them. 

They might become a couple. 

Just thinking about this, Lily smiled happily while Gianna beside her was wondering what gift she should give Shawn for his birthday. 

After returning from the Watts Villa, Gianna wasted no time and had the servants pack her things. She took a private plane back to Silver City overnight.
