“Three months, I only need to bail her out for three months. Go and ask, can I get a fifty percent discount on the bail? If so, just give the money!” 

“Yes, Mr. Rivera.” 

At the Empyrean Group, Gianna was in the middle of a cross–country meeting, and after the meeting ended, Raymond knocked on her office door. “Ms. Lewis, someone from Rivera Group’s legal department is here and wants to talk to you about Rebecca’s stealing of company secrets.” Gianna directly ordered, “Just leave it to our company’s lawyers and report the results to me after that.” 

“Yes, Ms. Lewis.” 

Raymond exited just in time to run into Mr. Denley at the office door, and with no expression on his face, Raymond addressed him politely, “Mr. Denley.” 

Warren smiled. “Raymond, you are an experienced employee beside Chaim. No need to be so formal.” 

Raymond, however, nodded slightly. “Is there something wrong with Mr. Denley?” 

Warren gazed at the closed office door. “I’m here to see Ms. Lewis…” 

He said and walked straight toward Gianna’s office. 

“Ms. Lewis, are you busy?” 

Hearing the visitor, Gianna closed the document in her hand and raised her eyes with a light smile on her face. “Mr. Denley, what brings you here?” 

Warren took a seat on the sofa with a look of desire to speak. “Ms. Lewis, I came over today! It’s something I wanted to give you a heads 

up on…” 

Gianna returned with a fake smile. “What kind of thing bothering Mr. Denley.” 

Warren didn’t hide anything and spoke bluntly, “It’s about Maverick.” 

Warren purposely paused to see Gianna’s reaction, who, as usual, was not overly emotional. 

“What happened to Mr. Maverick Myers?” 

Warren saw her ask with a gesture of regret. “Ms. Lewis, I see you don’t know! This Maverick has been reported by our company’s accountant by name.” 

Gianna’s brow furrowed slightly, her expression glazed over. “What’s going on here?” 

Warren feigned surprise. “What? Didn’t the people inform you? I’ve heard that our Mr. Maverick Myers used his position to embezzle a huge sum of money for personal gain, which was verified by the accountant and has now been reported to the inspection authority.” 

“What!” Gianna directly stood up, her face ugly. 

“Maverick embezzled public money? This is simply nonsense!” What kind of status is Maverick, the grand young master of the Myers Group? Would he look at that little bit of money? 

Warren couldn’t help but have a smirk on his face when he saw Gianna reacting so strongly. 

“Ms. Lewis, people ah! Can’t always resist temptation, especially when it’s that big.” Gianna remained firm. “Maverick would never do such a thing.” 

Warren laughed and shook his head. “Ms. Lewis! That’s quite a lot of trust you have in Maverick! 

But the facts speak for themselves, a few million dollars may not mean much to Ms. Lewis, but for someone like Maverick, who gets a salary of tens of thousands of dollars a month and has no status or background, a few million dollars that’s a lot of money…” 

Gianna laughed. 

She gazed at Warren with a condensed face. There was no need to think this must be someone doing a setup to frame Maverick, just that the person doing the setup was too rash. Without even figuring out what Maverick’s identity was, they dared to accuse him of embezzling public funds. 

The young master of the Myers family was not interested in a few million dollars. 

Gianna instantly calmed down and said nonchalantly, “Mr. Denley, are the facts clear? Don’t falsely accuse innocent people…”
