“Stealing company secrets will be sent to prison. Do you think you will get arrested if I hand this video to the police?”
Rebecca looked at her in disbelief, panic in her eyes. She realized something and changed her expression instantly, begging for mercy. “Gianna, no… please don’t do this!”
If Gianna turned this video to the police, she would be screwed for the rest of her life!
Stealing company secrets was not a minor crime, and the amount of money involved was so large that it was enough for her to spend a lifetime in prison.
“Please… Gianna! Don’t hand it over to the police. I was wrong. It was my fault…” Rebecca kept begging for mercy.
She merely hoped that Gianna would spare her.
Maverick, who followed here, saw this. He smiled with a tinge of ridicule. “If you had known this, why would you have done it in the first place? Then she continued. “Rebecca, I will give you a chance. You must turn yourself into the Public Security Bureau within three days.
“If you don’t go, I will send someone to deliver this video in person.
“It is your own choice!”
After saying this, Gianna didn’t say anything more. After she left, Rebecca seemed drained of all her strength and lay on the ground.

Gianna sincerely congratulated Maverick.
“You deserve a lot of credit for winning this project. How about we arrange a celebration party for you tonight?”
Maverick smiled slovenly. “Just a celebration banquet and no other rewards?”
Gianna didn’t realize what he was saying, smiling and nodding.
“You are a great contributor to Empyrean Group. I have to think carefully about a big reward I can
give you.”
- Maverick smiled in his eyes.
“Okay, I’m looking forward to it.”
After saying that, Maverick took out the car key. “Wait for me here. I’ll get the car.”
But as soon as Maverick left, a Rolls–Royce Phantom stopped steadily in front of Gianna.
The car window slowly slid down. It was Chaim.
“Gianna…”
Gianna looked at the person in the car with surprise. “Chaim, why are you here?”
“I have something for you. Let’s get in the car and talk.”

The car started, and the driver drove away, along the road and onto the highway.
Looking at the buildings flashing past the car window, Gianna was startled.
