Gianna smiled and proactively extended her hand, saying, “Hello, Mr. Garcia!”

Charles smiled again.

Maverick smiled without warmth. “Then, Mr. Garcia, let’s wait and see.” 

The air instantly grew tense, and the pressure slowly subsided. Gianna felt Maverick’s hostility towards Charles. 

“Well, see you later then…..” Charles glanced meaningfully at Gianna before leaving confidently.

Charles sat down next to her.

“So urgent?” Rebecca didn’t expect him to act so swiftly.

She shifted her gaze and said, “Don’t worry! This project will definitely belong to Garcia Group. Let’s see how miserably Gianna and Maverick lose later!”

“I’ll go to the restroom for a moment. You keep an eye on this side,” Rebecca said and then got up, walking towards the restroom. 

However, when she came out of the restroom, she was blocked by Gianna at the door. 

“Rebecca, you’re also here!” Gianna greeted Rebecca with a fake smile. 

During the three years she was married to–Levi, Gianna had little interaction with Rebecca, at most seeing her as a relative during holidays.
