Gianna laughed. 

But her laugh was void of any 

warmth. 

“Spare you? Weren’t you seeking my life when you set that fire?” Emily certainly wanted to kill Gianna. 

That fire was so big. 

If it hadn’t been for the timely arrival of the rescuers, everyone would have perished in the flames. 

Now, she wants Gianna to spare her. 

It’s like asking for the impossible. 

“Gianna, I didn’t mean it. I was just angry, just furious, just wanted to teach you a lesson, that’s all.” 

“As for everything else, I never wanted it. Spare me, okay?” 

“I don’t want to stay here anymore. I don’t want to stay here ever again…”

Emily continued to knocked her head. 

Not for long, her forehead was cracked, and her face was stained red with fresh blood. 

But Gianna’s heart remained unfeeling, watching her with cold eyes as if she was watching a clown. 

Finally, she left with a parting remark. “I have no interests in taking your life. But I will make sure your life is worse than death.” 

“Don’t… Gianna… please don’t…” Emily’s screams of agony filled the entire room, but Gianna didn’t look back, striding away.

snake slithered in, slowly issuing a hissing sound. 

Emily’s biggest fear was snakes.
