Gianna didn’t care and took out her credit card.
Just when Gianna took out her credit card and gave it to the staff, Shawn behind her was one step ahead. “Swipe this one…”

Shawn smiled. “Why should we be so polite between you and me? Consider this gown a gift from me. I hope your career will prosper and this fashion show will become an instant hit and make a strong presence in the industry.”
“Ah?” Gianna was surprised!
She wanted to say something, but Shawn didn’t give her a chance to refuse and handed his card to the staff.
That was twenty million dollars.
He just spent it out like that in exchange for the dress.
Gianna was still a little hesitant, wondering if Shawn was too kind to her.
The staff packed the gown and brought it to Gianna.
Just a brief glimpse of the stage was already amazing.
Looking at it in front of her, Gianna couldn’t take her eyes away.
The design was so unique, and the technique was so retro. It was simply a work of art.
It was really hard not to like such a beautiful gown.

Shawn reached out and rubbed her head.
“As long as you like it.”
His eyes had unabashed endearment, and Levi, who was not far away, was burning with anger.
“Gianna!”
Levi walked slowly towards her.
He stopped in front of them, and his eyes inadvertently caught a glimpse of the gown in her hand. Upon seeing him, the original smile on Gianna’s face instantly faded away, and her expression changed faster than turning the pages of a book.

She was distant to Levi. Her attitude towards Shawn was so different from towards Levi.

Gianna was speechless.
“This has nothing to do with you, right?”
Levi continued, “If a man is willing to spend so much money on a woman, his purpose and intentions must not be simple.
“Gianna, you still have to be careful, and don’t be deceived.”

Seeing this, Shawn protected Gianna and replied unceremoniously, “Mr. Rivera, are you trying to imply something?”
“You know what I mean,” Levi was not to be outdone!
They stared at each other.
The tense atmosphere between the two men spread infinitely, and neither one was willing to take a step back.
Gianna chuckled.
“Mr. Rivera, are you the mayor of this city? Why do you care so much? Or have you forgotten that we no longer have any relationship?”
“Gianna, how can you let go of a three–year relationship so quickly?”
Gianna’s eyes turned cold.
In Levi’s eyes, they seemed only to have the past three miserable years.
Levi seemed to have forgotten all kinds of their
past.
He had no idea why Gianna wanted to marry him without hesitation in the first place.
“Mr. Rivera, people always look forward. The past is the past, so why mention it again?”
“But I can’t forget it!”
Gianna smiled.
When she was attracted to him, he looked the other way. Now that she didn’t want him, why did he start to pretend to be affectionate here?
If it was before their divorce, she might believe him.
But now, she just smiled relievedly, “Then I wish Mr. Rivera would let it go soon.”
Levi’s heart trembled. There was something that he seemed never to be able to grasp. “Gianna, does it have to be like this?”
“It’s been like this long, isn’t it?”
Gianna’s attitude was so determined.
There was no ambiguity at all.
Levi’s heart felt as if pricked by a needle, and there was a dull pain.
