“What do you mean?”
Levi was puzzled.
Victor didn’t hide it anymore and took out the recording directly.
“This is the truth. I asked you to come here today for this…”
Levi listened to the recording.
The further he listened, the gloomier his face became.
“I think Gianna gave her a chance, but she didn’t cherish it and kept provoking her! No one can tolerate someone without a bottom line!”
Levi clenched his hands silently.
A feeling of regret overwhelmed him.

Gianna was about to leave, but a young man stopped her.

The man handed Gianna something with golden letters on it. “Ms. Lewis, Professor Hastings specially asked me to hand this to you.”
Gianna took it and opened it.
It was an invitation!
“Professor Hastings said he was sorry for not taking good care of you because there were many people coming to the design exhibition today. He hopes you to forgive him, Ms. Lewis. This weekend, Professor Hastings will hold a private banquet and invites you to his home to talk.”
A flash of surprise showed in Gianna’s eyes.
It was Professor Hastings, Carmen Hastings, one of the most influential figures in the design community of Silver City.
Gianna couldn’t hide the excitement in her heart and nodded slightly. “Please say thanks to Professor Hastings for me. I will be there on time.”
“Okay. Ms. Lewis, goodbye!”
On the way back, Gianna looked at the invitation in her hand with joy on her face.
On the side, Shawn joked, “Gianna, is there anything special about this invitation? Did you see a flower in it?”
Gianna smiled.
“Shawn! This is Carmen’s invitation! It’s hard to get it!”
