Alaia quickly snapped back to reality. “Oh, I did hand it in. Maybe it’s on the other side. Let me take
you there.”
Then, Alaia led Sienna towards the other side of the design exhibition.
Meanwhile, Gianna was surrounded by people, appearing calm and composed.
After chatting with everyone, she greeted them and found a sofa to rest on.
Shawn brought a glass of champagne and handed it to her, saying, “How are you? Feeling tired?”

Shawn continued, “I just took a look. There are fewer design works by Professor Hastings himself at the exhibition today. Most of them are designed by his students. I heard Professor Hastings plans to retire and wants to take on a student before he does. Today is probably an opportunity for him to assess the students‘ abilities.”

The two of them walked along the corridor where the design works were displayed, and Gianna couldn’t help but admire them.

Shawn pointed to the direction where a crowd had gathered not far
away.

Gianna became even more curious.

Saying so, she pulled Shawn along to see it up close.
“I never expected it! Alaia actually designed such an amazing work.”
“This design is very bold in the use of colors! The design angle is very novel. If it is really made into a finished product, it will be amazing.”
“To be able to come up with such a work, her foundation must be solid. Professor Hastings‘ students are truly talented!”
“Ms. Rivera, do have a bright future ahead!”
The crowd consisted of industry elites, all speaking highly of Alaia’s design. Alaia accepted the praise with satisfaction, and even Sienna, who was standing beside her, felt proud.
