In the upstairs study, Rebecca entered and was immediately greeted by a strong scent of tobacco.

She sat across from Cedric and asked, “How is she doing now?”

She was referring to Natalie.

With the visit from members of the Johnson family today, Rebecca had grown increasingly convinced that Natalie had orchestrated the divorce on purpose

If she had known about Natalie’s capabilities, she would have involved Natalie in the company years ago!

“What, about her?”

“I’m talking about things between you two!”

“We’re divorced, which is what you wanted!”

Rebecca added, “The Lambert family has been avoiding a marriage alliance with us because of the incident at the birthday party. Hah! It’s not like I wanted that alliance.”

They heard about our successful collaboration with Mr. Frazier, so they would like to work with us to acquire the land next to Dragon Park.”

Natalie’s heart skipped a beat upon hearing this

The person who arrived was an intelligent and competent woman. She was tall and dressed in a sharp, neutral outfit. She looked like the epitome of a corporate professional.

“Hello, I’m Yvonne Lane,” The woman said. She extended her hand with a serious and polite demeanor,

exhibiting typical corporate etiquette.

Natalie shook her hand and replied, “Nice to meet you. Please have a seat.”

Natalie naturally held a different attitude towards someone recommended by Irwin.

They spent two hours inside Natalie’s office.

Karina wondered what those two were discussing inside. She glanced multiple times in the direction of

Natalie’s office.

Yvonne seemed like quite a challenging person to communicate with.

However, when Yvonne emerged from the office, there was a hint of a smile on her face, though it still appeared as reserved as ever.

But it was clearly different from the seriousness she had when she entered.

“Let’s finalize the draft for now. I must say, time is limited.”

“Alright, I understand.” Natalie nodded and personally saw her out.

There was no doubt that Yvonne had relayed the intentions of her CEO to Natalie. They expected Natalie to base her work on their proposal.

Natalie naturally preferred clients who had their own ideas from the start, as it provided her with a starting point.

Yvonne added, “However, Ms. Walker, I must remind you that our company also has an elite design team. This arrangement here is a courtesy from Mr. Spencer to Mr. Frazier.”

Natalie remained silent.

Natalie responded, “I understand. Rest assured.”

Karina escorted Yvonne out.

Natalie returned to her office, shaking her head with a wry smile.

Natalie answered, “Hello, Mr. Warren!”

“Have you met with Premier Garden’s representative?”

“Yes, she just left. Please convey my thanks to Mr. Frazier.”

Although Natalie wasn’t too keen on taking these new projects, she couldn’t decline this one outright since Irwin had recommended her.

She couldn’t risk hurting his reputation, so she would have to take this one!

She would just have to postpone her return to Simeria.

“Mr. Frazier would like to have lunch with you. Can you spare some time?”

“We had dinner together just last night!” Natalie replied with a straight face.

Not only did they have dinner together, but Irwin also dropped her off at work this morning!

“Mr. Frazier said that as thanks for the deal with Premier Garden, you should treat him to a meal.

Before Natalle could finish her sentence, Dylan cut in and said that which made her stop short.

“Alright then.”

After hanging up the phone and checking the time, Natalle realized it was still early. She got back to work, focusing on the eastern suburbs project, which she was personally handling for Irwin.
