Chapter 58 Furious

When Cedric heard the beeping sound on the phone, he eventually… smashed the phone in anger!

He had compromised to such an extent!

He initially wanted to talk to her about returning to Scarlet Villa.

After all, she was the young mistress of the Johnson family and his wife. Scarlet Villa was her home.

If Natalie weren’t willing to give up her eyes, he wouldn’t pursue the issue further.

Didn’t this level of compromise suffice?

The more he thought about it, the more irritable he became!

Bang! Crash!

He swept the vase on the table to the ground. But even with doing this to vent his anger, he found no

solace deep within.

His nerves were still on edge, and he was far from relaxed. Nothing he did made him feel better!

Compared to Cedric’s anger and frustration, Natale was relaxed and calm.

However, she didn’t have Karina drive her back to Elegance Bay. She called Bianca and made plans to

meet at the Enchanted Melody for some drinks.

Although she was still feeling somewhat bitter about today’s events, she knew it was her first significant win against Cedric in her two lives.

How could she not celebrate properly?

“Let’s all take a break today. I’ll take everyone out to celebrate tomorrow night,” Natalie told Karina.

Karina agreed and said, “That would be nice. Everyone has worked hard these past few days.”

Behind every successful boss was a group of dedicated employees. Although Natalie was new to the role

of a boss, she had lived alongside one for many years and had observed how he operated.

Whenever they won a victory, Cedric would take his team out for a wild celebration!

When they arrived at the Enchanted Melody, Bianca was already there.

Seeing Natalie step out of the Bugatti, her eyes sparkled.

‘Impressive! You’re flaunting your wealth right from the start. How much of his money are you planning to

spend?”

Even though Natalie hadn’t been frugal in the past, her current behavior was something entirely new.

If a wife didn’t spend her husband’s money, and her husband didn’t spend it, then who would? Ultimately, there would be some seductress out there waiting to get their hands on it.

Who knew how much Cedric had spent on the hospital where Isabella was being treated? 

Natalie replied, “This is from my uncle, not him!”

“Your uncle?” Blanca repeated.

“Yeah,” Natalie replied.

“Wow, your uncle really spoils you, doesn’t he?‘ Bianca said, her tone filled with envy. “I wish I had a

generous uncle like that.”

She’d like a whole team of them if she could!

When Natalie thought about her own uncle, she felt warm inside. Since meeting her uncle, she had a 

different sense of belonging to a family.

In the darkness of the night, those well–dressed folks during the day reveal their true selves when they

come to the Enchanted Melody.

The pounding music excited everyone.

After half an hour, Bianca’s excited voice pierced through the music.

“What? You made Cedric lose such a huge project?!”

During their phone call, Natalie had only told her that they were going out to celebrate without mentioning the reason.

Upon hearing that they were celebrating Cedric’s defeat, which was an even bigger matter because he had lost to Natalie, Bianca was shocked.

The more Bianca thought about it, the more excited she got.

Natalie understood Bianca’s feelings and exclaimed triumphantly, “Not only was he his face was practically contorted with rage! Hahaha!”

After all, Cedric had disdainfully claimed that she would never get Apex Global’s approval for her designs.

After their wild night out, Natalie didn’t feel the slightest hint of a hangover, She wasn’t even sure when

she had returned to Elegance Bay,

As she descended the stairs, the butler and servants were waiting at the staircase. They were all dressed professionally,

had to admit that Stephen had a flamboyant personality, and he demanded a high level of pomp

“Miss,” the butler greeted her respectfully.

Natalie had been by Cedric’s side for many years and had always assumed that the Johnson family’s lifestyle in Verde City was quite lavish.

Even though she had been married to Cedric for a while, she still had trouble getting used to his world. As a result, Rebecca and the rest of the Johnson family made fun of her for a long time.

They couldn’t accept her and even looked down on her. They believed that their way of life was the best.

However, she hadn’t experienced the kind of lifestyle she was currently undergoing. It was a stark contrast to what she had previously been accustomed to.

Stephen’s lifestyle was meticulous, with high demands for both appearances and self–esteem.

On the other hand, the Johnson family focused on grandeur and extravagance.

Comparatively, one appeared to be entrenched nobility, while the other seemed like a newly wealthy

upstart!

She didn’t realize this before, but after making comparisons now, she couldn’t help but feel that the

Johnson family… was more like the latter.

While Natalie was eating breakfast, the butler asked, “What do you think? Does it suit your taste?”

Natalie nodded and said, “It’s very good! The sweetness is just right, and it’s not too overpowering.”

She wasn’t particularly fond of sweets, but the breakfast the chef had prepared this morning was

delicious.

It was even better than what she could have made! 

“Shall we prepare this as your dessert after meals from now on?” the butler suggested.

Natalie politely replied, “Okay, thank you.”

The butler nodded in response.

Breakfast consisted of a variety of flavors. It seemed that the staff here didn’t know her taste preferences, so they prepared a variety of dishes with small portions of each.

The butler took note of everything she liked and didn’t like in order to get an idea of her taste preferences.

After breakdest, Karina arrived. When she saw Natalie was dressed in a custom–made professional outfit and ready to leave, she hesitated.

Karina replied, “The matter of you going to Isabella’s hospital room has been exposed.”

Upon hearing this, Natalie was briefly stunned.

She already had a good idea of how people would depict her actions.

“Has Uncle found out as well?” Natalie asked.

“Yes.”

“What did he say?”

“He said he wanted to hear your opinion first…”

Stephen had always respected Natalie’s decisions in this matter.

Of course, this respect was also a way of encouraging her to become stronger.
