“Stop looking at them!” Stephen commanded, his tone significantly graver. 

There was an unmistakable difference in his attitude. 

Before, Natalie was his niece.

“Heather mentioned that Irwin took her to Mount Elven,” Stephen elaborated.

Cedric’s heart tightened. When he discovered that Irwin had taken Natalie there, his heart had been gripped with tension. 

He had subconsciously believed that Natalie’s constitution wasn’t suited for such cold climates. However, he hadn’t expected the consequences to be this severe, least of all for her eyes…! 

“The snow and sunlight had a profound impact on her eyes, leading to her current condition,” Stephen said with a sigh, his voice laden with regret. 

Cedric felt an intensified pain in his heart upon hearing Stephen’s words. 2
