“How considerate of you!” Natalie said, her tone indifferent.
Compared to Cedric, Irwin indeed seemed more considerate. However, this demeanor carried a sense of purpose, making it hard for others not to be wary.

“What does that matter mean to you all?” She was referring to the task she had asked Casey to investigate.
Although she couldn’t pick up the call from Casey before coming to Mount Elven, Natalie speculated that Irwin’s urgency in bringing her here meant that Casey had uncovered something crucial.
Earlier, when she had assigned Casey the task, there had been tension between Irwin and Cedric.
