Chapter 497 Half a Mistress of The Entes Family
Zane glanced at Bianca. “It’s a family banquet.”
A family banquet?!
“The Entes family holds a family banquet every half a year, which is why I haven’t taken your there before,” he said in a gentle tone, seemingly offering an explanation for never bringing her to the Entes family gatherings.
Upon hearing this explanation, Bianca was taken aback for a moment, her eyes revealing a hint of unease. “You don’t need to tell me all this.”
“You are now the mistress of Versant Villa and half of the Entes family,” Zane added.
Bianca fell silent.
Her mind felt like it had exploded with those words as it struck a nerve deep within her.
After all, she had never envisioned herself becoming the mistress of the Entes family.
Previously, by Malcolm’s side, she had endured endless humiliation. If she could, she would have cut ties with the Entes family entirely.
But she knew that was impossible.
Especially after the conflicts with Faye and now Jade, she and Malcolm would likely remain at odds indefinitely.
“Do I need to prepare anything?” Bianca asked Zane cautiously.
Zane replied, “No need.”

It suddenly occurred to Bianca that she had overlooked something important. “Should I bring. a gift for my first visit to Entes Manor?”

Perhaps it wasn’t entirely her fault for being a bit oblivious, considering she didn’t have any family ties and was unfamiliar with such formalities.

He made it sound as if she had never been flustered in her life.
Before she could respond, Zane continued, “I’ve seen you debate in court.”
Bianca was silent. At his words, her face instantly flushed a deep shade of red, avoiding Zane’s
gaze.
“Your arguments are clear, and your words sharp! You don’t seem like the kind of woman. casily restrained by such matters,” Zane commented.
“It’s different,” Bianca replied, her tone slightly awkward.
Hearing such recognition from Zane made Bianca reflect on the person she once was, leaving her feeling somewhat unsettled.
Zane chuckled, and Bianca felt her cheeks grow even hotter. It felt as if her blush was so intense that not even her makeup could conceal it.
Meanwhile, it was early morning in Mount Elven due to the time difference with Simeria.
Snow–covered mountains stretched across the horizon, casting a serene white glow.
Inside a wooden cabin, warmth enveloped every corner.
Natalie stood by the window, captivated by the steady descent of snowflakes. Everything outside shimmered in a pristine silver hue.
A man approached her from behind, wrapping his arms around her.
“Do you like it here?” he whispered.
“Yes, I do,” she replied softly.
There was a time when Natalie loved traveling, especially since Verde City rarely witnessed
snow.
She had always dreamt of visiting snowy landscapes, skiing, and building snowmen. No matter one’s age, there was always a childlike innocence within, and Natalie was no exception.
As the man’s embrace tightened, his cold breath felt strangely warm against her skin.
“Could you let go?” she said, her voice icy, mirroring the snowflakes outside.
The man’s hands stiffened momentarily before tightening even more..
“Nat, I know you resent me for those ten years,” he murmured.
