“Shawn!” Irwin called out, summoning the butler, who promptly appeared. “Prepare for a trip. I’m taking my fiancee to Mount Elven.”

That was a renowned glacial retreat, popular for summer vacations but not among those from Wexford. Wexford was known for its frequent rainfall and relatively cooler temperatures. Hence, the locals typically preferred warmer destinations.
“I’m not going,” Natalie said, her voice turning icy.
She approached to reclaim her phone, but Irwin raised his hand, and the phone continued to vibrate in his grip.
“Give it to me!” Natalie’s voice grew colder, her frustration evident.
Ignoring her tone, Irwin pressed on, “Prepare everything quickly. We’re leaving immediately!”
