Irwin’s words seemed too casual. He played with a strand of her hair. It had a pleasant scent, evident from the slight satisfaction on his l*ps.

“He hasn’t tried to take Luna from you, has he?” Bianca looked at Natalie with probing eyes, her voice tinged with tension.
