Natalie lunged at him!

Seeing the crazy look in her eyes, Cedric grabbed her hand. Natalie’s wrist was delicate, and he easily

held it in his grasp.

“Now you know what it feels like to be driven insane? You used to be quite good at causing a scene, weren’t you?” he taunted and pressed a forceful k*ss on her l*ps!

Natalie knew he was settling the score for her earlier tantrum during their divorce.

However, she retorted, “Why didn’t you have a conscience when I sought a divorce? How dare you come

to settle scores now?!”

“You did those things! Who else would I hold accountable for them if not you?” he replied.

“There’s nothing between us now! You can’t get over it, huh?”

Natalie had lost her composure. She never thought that merely seeking a divorce would lead to such a revengeful response from him.

She took a deep breath and said, “Do you have that much free time now?”

“Can I leave now?” she said as she slammed the napkin onto the table.

Cedric glanced at her. “You can leave.”

As she stood up, she heard Cedric calling to the adjacent table, “Lucas, make a call to our overseas

department…”

Natalie sat back down.

Cedric teasingly looked at her as he continued, “No need for that.”

Natalie glared at him fiercely.

If looks could kill, Cedric would probably be dead ten times over by now!

With that, Natalie had to sit through the entire meal with Cedric. Fortunately, he didn’t insist on pestering

her once lunch was done.

He brought her back to Sylvan Gems. As she got out of the car, Cedric grabbed her hand. She instinctively

tried to slap it away!

Tightening the grip on her hand, Cedric warned, “Don’t try to find that person; it’s useless.”

“Cedric, have some decency!”

“Sylvan Gems will be free of my presence if you return home.”

Natalie’s face turned pale.

Without waiting for her response, Cedric continued, “If you want to continue working, it would be best if

you behave yourself, hmm?”

The implication was clear: if she didn’t obey, he would control her in this manner. Cedric’s tactics were despicable. Now, Natalie had to reluctantly endure his influence over Sylvan Gems.

“Cedric, you better pray you don’t fall into my hands, or else…” Natalle didn’t finish her sentence.

Seeing her grinding her teeth fiercely and acting like a little tiger, Cedric found it amusing.

“Zane, Regal Horizons International is not as stable as the greatest mountain in the world.” Natalie sighed.

Only in these past two days did she realize that Cedric hadn’t had time to deal with her before this. Agreeing to divorce was just a way of him appeasing her tantrums.

The relationship between them wasn’t something that could be ended with a piece of paper.

“I understand,” Zane nodded.

He had always had a keen perception, especially around Stephen. At this moment, he clearly sensed the emotions emanating from Natalie.

Cedric had threatened Natalie.

Her gaze was sharp, and there was a hint of coldness in her eyes.

After seeing Natalie off to her office, Cedric didn’t return to the office. Instead, he went straight to the

Johnson Manor.

He rarely visited this place since marrying Natalie. Rebecca noticed his return, and her expression

softened compared to before.

She was in a good mood.

“How are you and Natalie doing?” she asked, elegantly sipping her tea.

Cedric’s expression was serious, unlike the relaxed demeanor on Rebecca’s face.

He asked, “Have you ever threatened her before?”

“What? What did she say to you?” Rebecca’s good mood changed when she heard this question.

If talking about threats, she had made plenty of them to Natalie in the past. She had also trampled all over her before. Cedric was unaware of many things, especially considering Natalie’s previous status.

As Rebecca thought about it now, she regretted her actions. Things wouldn’t be so awkward now if she had been a bit nicer to Natalie before.

“What do you think she said to me?” Cedric’s tone became more solemn as he observed Rebecca’s

“Tell Nat not to dwell on the past. It was my fault as a mother–in–law,” Rebecca said.

With the way Rebecca had phrased it, Cedric naturally realized that there were really many things he

“When was the last time you threatened her? What did you say?” Cedric’s words were icy with impatience.

“Ced!”

“I want to know!” Cedric insisted coldly.

Rebecca’s face darkened. “I know you’re blaming me, but…”

Cedric’s patience had worn thin, and Rebecca’s face turned paler.

She wanted to say more, but seeing Cedric’s impatience in his eyes, she refrained from saying anything

else unnecessary,

could I have threatened her with?!”

Cedric’s eyes chilled instantly at the mention of humiliation.
