Chapter 167 Unwilling to Submit

Natalie wanted to go to the guest room!

However, the man gave her a threatening look, ultimately forcing her to return to their previous master

bedroom.

Natalie couldn’t calm down when she saw how familiar everything was.

“Are you really not going to shower?”

Seeing her standing at the door without moving, the man blew softly on her neck, making Natalie tense.

She turned around and looked at him, hatred evident in her eyes.

Just as Natalie was at a loss for words in her anger, her phone vibrated loudly, breaking the tension

After she hung up the phone, strong arms wrapped around her. Natalie instinctively tried to push him away, but the man held on firmly.

“Nat, are you sure you don’t want to behave?”

At this moment, Natalie’s voice shook violently, and there was a chilling air around her. She didn’t like him touching her, and he could see that!

Both of their breaths became ragged.

“I miss you,” Cedric said.

“You can’t treat me like this.”

Natalie trembled violently. She wanted to knock him out with a punch!

Unfortunately, she didn’t know what he had in his hands!

Even Irwin and Stephen had been dragged into this mess. She couldn’t do anything but temporarily yield

to this man.

But even if she yielded, there had to be a limit. The gap between them spanned two lifetimes, and they

couldn’t go back to how things used to be!

“Are you afraid of me touching you?” Cedric asked, “Why, hmm?”

He felt the slight tremble in her b*dy and sensed the suppressed emotions when she faced him.

Natalie lifted her head, and there were tears in her eyes.

moment of uncertainty flashed across Cedric’s face.

Just when Natalie didn’t know how to respond to him, Cedric pushed her away abruptly. He turned around

and slammed the door shut forcefully!

This action clearly displayed the anger in the man’s heart.

Breathing heavily, she stared blankly at nothing. Just then, her phone vibrated again.

This time, it was a call from Irwin.

She took a few deep breaths before answering. “Hello.”

“You should be resting at this hour, right?”

“Yeah. How’s everything on your end?”

She regretted asking as soon as she did, fearing Irwin would say it wasn’t good.

However, the man replied, “I’ve handled it. I’ve booked a flight back for tomorrow.”

“R–really?”

Natalie couldn’t believe Irwin had settled the matter so quickly.

But considering the current situation between her and Cedric…

There was no doubt about it!

As long as she thought about how he had left her to burn to death in the fire in her past life, she absolutely

didn’t want to remarry him!

It didn’t matter how gentle he was now, especially since he was using such means to pressure her!

“Of course. Can you pick me up at the airport tomorrow afternoon?”

“Sure, what time?”

“Three in the afternoon.”

“Okay, I’ll be there to pick you up.”

Hearing that Irwin was coming back, Natalie felt a sense of peace for some reason.

Cedric was like a madman.

And the people around him were also mad!

That night, Natalie didn’t know what Cedric was doing. But he didn’t return to the room all night, which

The next day, she woke up to a maid bringing in a change of clothes and a bag.

“Of course, Ms. Walker. Mr. Johnson prepared these clothes and this bag for you.”

“Put them down.”

Natalie showed no interest in these items. The maid placed the things down and left.

Natalie glanced at them. Then, she picked up her phone and called Karina.

Karina answered quickly. “Yes, Ms. Walker?”

“Could you send me a set of clothes and a bag to Scarlet Villa?”

“Scarlet Villa?” There was a moment of silence on the other end of the line, followed by a quick response,

After hanging up the phone, she went to the bathroom to freshen up. She chose not to wear the clothes

Cedric had prepared.

She had spoken to Irwin last night.

After the call, she suddenly felt that if this was the extent of Cedric’s tricks, then she had nothing to fear!

Going downstairs, she saw Cedric sitting in the dining room. When he saw she hadn’t changed her

clothes, his eyebrows furrowed for an instant.

She could already guess why he was frowning.

Natalie sat across from him, and took a sip of her coffee.

“Irwin called you, didn’t he?” Cedric spoke.

Natalie paused and looked at him sharply.

Being the scoundrel he was, he smiled mischievously.

“It seems you received the call last night, hmm? What about this morning? Did he call you?”

“What do you mean?”

Natalie had been in a bad mood since she woke up, and the topic they were discussing now made her

even more irritated.

Just as Cedric was about to say something. Natalie’s phone vibrated!

She had placed it on the phone, so both of them turned toward it. Natalie checked the number.

It was Irwin!

Natalie glanced at the man having breakfast across from her, feeling uneasy.

“Answer it.”

The man seemed to have everything under control. It made Natalie wish she could overturn her coffee on

his head!

Glaring at him fiercely, she answered the phone, “Hello, Irv.”

She did it on purpose!

Cedric was testing her, and she knew it.

She wouldn’t be satisfied if she didn’t provoke him a bit!
