Chapter 154 Utter Chaos

Isabella fl*pped through her suitcase–the one Yuvan had personally delivered and placed in the cabinet.

She opened it, searching for her phone. However, after going through the empty suitcase and feeling through each piece of clothing, she still couldn’t find her phone anywhere.

“Ms. Morgan, it’s time for your medication, a servant’s voice came from outside.

Then she heard the servant say in a displeased tone, “Why did you mess up the room like this?” 

Isabella asked in the same displeased tone, “Where’s my phone?”

She needed to make a call!

She had to call Yuvan and Cedric.

She needed to leave this place!

Christina… she was too terrifying!

What she had seen before was nothing compared to now.

This time, Christina had truly revealed her true colors before Isabella.

Isabella had to admit that the woman was frightening!

She shuddered to think what kind of poisonous methods Christina had used to deal with all the other

women who had once pursued Cedric.

Christina liked Cedric, and she adored him. That was an overwhelming kind of love. If she couldn’t have

“Ms. Johnson said your eyes are not in good condition right now, If you need or want to contact someone, just let us know directly. She has already taken your phone!” The servant said flatly, her voice devoid of any sympathy.

The servant put down the medicine and left, leaving Isabella alone in the room. She didn’t bother to tidy

up the now chaotic space and headed straight to Christina to report.

Taking good care of her was a must. Christina wouldn’t mistreat Isabella openly; after all, Rebecca was watching.

“Your mother went to Sylvan Gems today to meet Natalie.”

Christina was shocked. Her face changed when she heard this news, and her previously good mood

soured.

“It seems like she couldn’t get anything from the Lamberts, so she wants to focus on Natalie. After all,

Stephen is Natalie’s uncle. So, the Johnson family won’t lose out!”

“Heh, is that so? Christina sneered.

So, Natalie was now an available option.

She thought that Rebecca was prideful enough that she wouldn’t go looking for Natalie. She assumed Rebecca would look for another young lady from one of the wealthy families.

Now, it seemed that Rebecca’s pride wasn’t as strong as Christina thought.

After Rebecca left, Natalie returned to her office. She scrolled through her phone with long, slender fingers.

Zane checked the schedule. “Mr. Lynch from the state of Emerald is coming tomorrow. Would you like to meet him?:

Natalie shook her head. “You handle it. If there’s nothing else important, I have some personal matters to attend to tomorrow.

After Zane left, Natalie reached into the drawer and took out the exhibition ticket her uncle had given her

before.

Her world was on the verge of collapse.

Rebecca’s appearance today also made her realize what she was facing now, and it seemed that there

would be more to come.

Tapping on her phone, she called Irwin, who answered promptly in a gentle voice.

This was the first time Natalie had called him outside of work matters.

“Do you have some time tomorrow?”

“There’s an art exhibition. I want you to accompany me.”

“How about we leave together from Elegance Bay at ten tomorrow morning?”

She probably wouldn’t come into the company tomorrow.

The man on the other end didn’t immediately agree. Natalie heard Irwin discussing the time with his secretary.

Soon, he said, “I have a morning meeting. Send me the location of the art exhibition, and I’ll meet you there directly.”

After she hung up, Natalie looked at the address on the exhibition ticket and sent a photo of it to Irwin. The man must be busy, as he didn’t reply this time.

After a meeting in the afternoon, Natalie finished organizing her work. With nothing much else to do, she Called Blanca.

“Hey. Want to have dinner together?”

“Sure, I’m done here. I’ll come to you right away.”

“No need. I’ll pick you up!” Natalie said.

“Nice. 17l be waiting!”

With that, she hung up. Natalie stood up, put on her coat, grabbed her bag, and headed out.

As she walked to the lobby, someone entered from the front door.

It was Christina.

Natalie’s eyes dimmed when she saw her. The receptionist approached, but Christina went straight to

Natalie.

The receptionist felt a bit annoyed as Christina strutted around as if she owned the place.

Natalie waved her hand dismissively. The receptionist breathed a sigh of relief and stepped back.

Christina surveyed the surroundings. This was the first time Christina met Natalie with a purpose since Natalie divorced Cedric.

“Not bad. I heard about it before, but seeing it now, it’s still a bit surprising!”

The mocking tone concealed her envy, especially when she noticed the handmade custom outfit on Natalie.

Back when Natalie was with Cedric, she used to wear limited edition items that were enough to make Christina jealous.

Now that Natalie had left the Johnson family, she seemed to be doing better than expected instead of the anticipated downfall!

“Why are you here?” Natalie asked in an icy tone as she raised her wrist to check the time. Christina’s emotions surged when she saw the style and brand of the watch on Natalie’s wrist.
