Cedric left after dropping such earth–shattering news. Even if he didn’t say anything else, Rebecca knew

what to do now.

Half an hour later, Rebecca and Elizabeth snapped out of their stupor. When their eyes met, confusion still

lingered in their eyes.

“Stephen’s niece?”

“Yes,” Rebecca nodded.

*Stephen Jarvis from Regal Horizons International?”

“Yes,” Rebecca nodded again.

“S-she…” Elizabeth faltered, unsure of what to say at this moment.

Rebecca was also unsure of what to say now. Natalle was Stephen’s niece, a result that no one had anticipated. Though only a niece, he was Natalie’s only family in this world.

Judging by Stephen’s attitude, it was clear that her existence was extraordinary in his world.

Rebecca turned pale. Her l*ps trembled as if trying to say something, but at this moment, nothing came

Christina entered and sensed that something was amiss. She approached and asked, “Mom, what’s

Isabella was special to her. Just the thought of the conflicts between Isabella and Natalie gave Rebecca

a headache.

At this point, she realized that there was really nothing they could do to Natalie. If Natalie didn’t retaliate,

that suited them just fine!

“I go to the hospital with you tomorrow,” Rebecca said, attempting to divert her own attention.

She hoped to temporarily shift her focus away from Natalie. Otherwise, she feared she might lose control.

“What did he say?” Upon learning that Cedric had returned, Christina probably understood why Rebecca

and Elizabeth’s attitudes had changed again.

just a niece?” Wanda scoffed.

Christina glared at her sharply.

Then, she stomped up the stairs.

Yet, she didn’t go in and instead entered her own room.

She splashed her face in the bathroom with cold water, attempting to calm herself. But it was futile. She shed the masks she wore to the outside world, revealing only a cold and fierce demeanor.
