“Ms. Yates came to plead with me. She said it was because the previous CEO’s suggestive remarks were too obvious, and she had no choice but to do what she did,” Justin explained.

“No choice? Hah?” Natalie scoffed. 

So, she resorted to unethical methods, suppressing those with even fewer choices?

Natalie placed the drafts on the conference table and pushed them toward Justin. “Pass along a message for me.”

“W–What is it?”

“The brilliance of gold can’t be suppressed no matter how hard you try.”

“Y–Yes, understood.”

“Return the drafts to her and tell her I want to see even more outstanding works.”

“What do you mean?” Justin didn’t quite grasp the meaning of Natalie’s words.

Was this designer going to get another chance, or was it over for her?

After all, opportunities at Sylvan Gems were never easy to come by. Would the more outstanding works Natalie wanted be from this designer or someone else?
