Chapter 107 Driven to Madness by Hatred 

On the other side, Cedric had left the hospital.

Rebecca was there to stay with Isabella, so Cedric headed back to the company to deal with the land

near Dragon Park.

On his way back, he saw Natalie’s Bugatti speeding past him.

Cars on the road swerved to avoid the two luxury vehicles. A collision involving any of them would be

financially unbearable!

“Natalie…”

When the name flashed through Cedric’s mind, his eyes turned icy.

“Follow her!” he ordered the driver in a cold tone.

Swift accelerating, the driver followed Natalie’s car. Soon, the two cars were speeding side by side. Cedric tilted his head and saw Natalle concentrating on driving.

At that moment, a flash of anger crossed his eyes.

“Force her to stop!”

“Mr. Johnson, that’s…”

The driver’s forehead was covered in cold sweat. Although he didn’t see it was Natalie, it was still a Bugatti!

Forcing her to stop might lead to a collision, and with his salary, he couldn’t afford such consequences!

“Hit her!”

Cedric issued a direct order this time.

The driver hesitated, his hand trembling. He unintentionally swerved towards Natalie’s direction and, as expected, collided with her!

Impact caused Natalie to lurch forward. Fortunately, the car’s stability helped her regain control quickly!

Natalie got out of the car. In her flat shoes, she appeared even more petite. She stood by her car door,

looking at Cedric’s Phantom with a mocking glint in her eyes.

Cedric also got out of his car and approached Natalie. Looking down at the petite woman, he asked,

“Disappointed? You want to ask why I’m still out and about, right?” Natalie said while fixing Cedric’s. already messy tie.

Their distance seemed ambiguous to onlookers, but Cedric felt a sudden choking sensation on his neck!

Natalie viciously tightened his tie, watching him choke and his face turn red.

She laughed.

That cheeky and mocking smile looked frivolous no matter how you saw it. It seemed like the satisfaction of a malicious person who believed they wouldn’t be punished for their wrongdoing.

“Natalie!” Cedric gritted his teeth, almost wishing he could tear her to pieces.

Natalie looked indifferent, saying, “You must be disappointed. Turns out that there are things even Mr. Johnson can’t accomplish in Verde City.”

“Who helped you this time? Irwin?”

“No, it was Stephen!”

Cedric was speechless.

She had boldly uttered that person’s name!

In the next moment, Natalie felt something wrap around her neck. It was as if the man almost wished he could crush her throat.

Cedric was furious.

Natalie replied, “If you could, would you be this angry?”

Now, everything she did and said was all done with the intention to challenge and provoke Cedric.

She was the only one who dared to do so.

Who else in Verde City dared to confront Cedric like this?

Despite there being people like Irwin and Caleb, they competed based on their strengths and wouldn’t

intentionally challenge each other.

They understood the principle of avoiding situations where the costs of conflict outweighed the potential

gains.

“Is there anything else? If not, I’m leaving!” Natalie pushed the man away, ignoring the state of her car.

She got in the car and drove away.

Cedric watched as her car’s beautiful taillights disappeared. Her speedy departure was also a provocation aimed at him. 

He clenched his fist tightly until his knuckles cracked.

Natalie…!

Natalie went straight to see Irwin.

In the restaurant, the atmosphere between them was harmonious. Watching the man elegantly sip his red wine, the lingering gloom in Natalie’s heart dissipated.

“What are you looking at? Irwin asked.

Natalie smiled and raised her glass to him.

“That was your own effort! Caleb is a very picky person. I didn’t expect you to pass on the first try,” Irwin

said.

Natalie didn’t feel it since her draft had passed on the first inspection. She instead thought Irwin was the

more discerning one in this regard.

“What’s wrong?” Irwin asked.

“It’s only because his assistant, Ms. Lane, came to see me before this. I designed it according to her

suggestions,” Natalie explained.

The fact that it passed smoothly on the first try was a significant achievement!

Irwin nodded, “I see.”

In Verde City, Caleb was one of the people that was quite difficult to deal with. The fact that Natalie’s

design draft passed his review was quite impressive.

Irwin had to admit that she did have some outstanding skills.

The two get along harmoniously, creating a picturesque scene.

This rare tranquil scene was quickly spread out to the public.

After visiting Isabella in the hospital, Rebecca took Christina out for a meal with some upper–class ladies.

Christina had reached a marriageable age. As a child Rebecca had raised on her own, she naturally hoped to choose a good match for Christina.

Unexpectedly, she saw Natalie dining with Irwin upon entering the restaurant.

Her expression darkened.

“Mom, what’s wrong? Christina asked.

“It’s nothing. Let’s head in!”

Rebecca’s mind was in turmoil.

Wasn’t Netalle supposed to be in prison? Why was she here?

She wouldn’t do such things in public.

In the end, she took Christina inside first. Although Christina also saw Natalie, she didn’t care much since

Natalie had divorced Cedric.

Despite some jealousy over Natalie having been Cedric’s wife, they were no longer together.

In the restroom, Rebecca deliberately slowed down her actions.

However, she still waited for almost ten minutes before Natalie arrived,

“You’re so arrogant now, aren’t you?!” Rebecca exclaimed in an unpleasant tone when she saw Natalie arriving late.

Natalie ignored her words and said, “Alright, what is it?”

Rebecca was obviously displeased as she asked, “Why are you still out and about?”

At the hospital this morning, Cedric clearly said Natalie had already been sent to prison.

Now, seeing her strutting around outside, Rebecca couldn’t hide her frustration.

Natalie sneered.
