After Anna left, Ace trashed his office. But such venting didn’t seem to
quench the anger in his heart.
So, he cursed his staff in the next few meetings, from HR to marketing and
even finance. No one was spared.
When he finished all the meetings, it was already 9 pm.
Ace returned to his office. But every corner of his office was covered with
Anna’s scent, which made him remember the scar on her stomach.
An ectopic pregnancy!
He used to release it outside her body when they weren’t using protection
when they were having sex, except for that time when he lost his mind in front
of her father. For ten years, he hadn’t even let her take the pill. Yet she was now

“I’m not going.” Ace lifted his wrist and glanced at his watch, “Go find out
where Anna lives now.”
Many images appeared in Ace’s mind. He seemed to see the woman in the
fiery red backless dress traveling between many men.
As long as the men held out checks, she could walk with them into some
dark corner and have sex. It was as if Ace heard Ana’s moans and screams from
various places.
Ace’s lips were dry. He said, “Now go get her for me!”
However, when Ace got home, he got a call from his assistant, “I’m sorry,
Sir, we couldn’t find anything. She has no record of renting an apartment or
booking any hotels since she got out of jail.”
Ace had a cigarette in his hand, and he took a sharp drag, “No way, she has
nowhere to go!”
Unless she had another man, she had nowhere to go!
Ace wasn’t able to calm down at all. “Keep looking. You’ve got to find her!”
Ace hung up the phone without a word; then, his cell phone screen

Ace’s cell phone after two years and eight months.
Anna had changed the name on Ace’s cell phone on her 20th birthday. Ace
clenched his fists. He felt like he would burn and walked toward the air
conditioner.
Just before he picked up the phone, she had hung up.
Ace cursed, “Fuck!”
Just as he hesitated to call her back, his phone rang again. He licked his lips
and picked up the phone indifferently, “Hello.”
“Mr. Robert.” Anna’s voice was cheerful.
Ace frowned. He had been restless all day, and Anna acted as if nothing had
happened.
“I gambled at night and lost all my money. Can you give me some more?”
Ace’s hands were shaking as he reached for the phone. She never gambled!
