Chapter 26 – Remorse
Ace stood with his arms crossed in front of the floor–to–ceiling window. The
assistant couldn’t see Ace’s expression at the time, but he could sense Ace’s
anger…
And deep remorse.
His assistant was stunned, suddenly understanding it all.
“Mr. Robert, I’ll be leaving then.”
Ace gently waved his hand, but still didn’t say anything. However, the
atmosphere in the office was horrible to the core.
It wasn’t until his assistant had left for a long time that his suppressed
emotions completely erupted.
