“Mr. Robert, everything I’ve said is true. If you don’t believe me, you can hang around for a while and see if Anna shows up. Well, it’s getting late, I’m going to see my daughter.”
As he spoke, the man deliberately emphasized “daughter“.
“Garren!”
Ace’s roar almost spilled out from the depths of his throat, like the devil, “If
you lie to me, even one word, I will definitely kill you.”
Garren shrugged impassively and leisurely walked away.
Ace leaned against the wall and lit a cigarette. Green and white smoke
quickly surrounded him and the cigarette fell to the floor.
He dialed his assistant and ordered, “From now on, send someone to track
down Galen Shaw immediately. I want to know where Anna is.”

Half a month passed in the blink of an eye.
While Ace stayed in Vancouver, he moved all his work over here. Just after
a video conference, his assistant knocked on his door with a file.
“Come in.” He frowned in annoyance.
“Mr. Robert, I think you should see this.”
The assistant handed out the file with a grim expression and watched the
man’s fading frown as he reported, “Right now the government is auctioning off
this piece of land in the south of the city. There are currently three companies

bidding against us. This piece of land is crucial to our resort project. The board wants you back immediately.”
The assistant gulped and added, “Our people have been following Galen Shaw for half a month. In addition to the man meeting with customers every day, he goes to the nanny’s to spend time with his young daughter …… Miss
Anna may not really be in Canada.”
“Mr. Robert, we may have actually made a mistake.”
Ace closed the file. Things were much more serious than he had thought. He pinched his forehead tiredly and contemplated for half a second, “Then we’ll be
back this afternoon.”
‘Anna, even if you hide to the ends of the earth, I will find you, I promise.‘
“Garren, that man seems to have left!”
At the villa, someone came back from outside and walked to the living room
with some excitement, recounting the story of how he witnessed Ace move out
today.
Galen sat on the couch, his mouth curving up at the sound of his voice. His
nerves, which had been tense for half a month, could finally relax.
“Ben, Sonny, thank you for this half month.”

Galen sincerely thanked them, then gently kissed the little girl’s head, “If I
didn’t have a goddaughter, we wouldn’t have been able to fool Ace.”
Ace would never have given up so quickly if he and his friend hadn’t
worked together seamlessly over the course of the half month.

“Garren, don’t say that. So, is there anything else you need help with next?”
The man narrowed his eyes and thought calmly.
Since Ace had found him here now, it meant that this time Ace must be
determined to find Anna. So he had to find Anna before Ace did.
“Ben, now Ace has his eye on me. I have trouble moving around, so I may
have to ask you to find someone for me.”
“I have a lot of friends in the government sector, this won’t be hard for me.”
Galen shook his head and said seriously, “It may be harder than ever to find
someone at this time.”
“Garren, just say who you’re looking for.”
“Her name is Anna .”
