In the center of the commercial street, an independent five–story building with a glass exterior stood impressively.
Today was the reopening day of Kaylee’s boutique.
After graduation, she went three years without designing, and now she was back at it. Compared to the shop three years ago, the location was better, and the area was also larger. The interior was uniquely decorated, brilliantly lit, and filled with carefully selected luxury clothing and jewelry. With the simple glass exterior, its unique charm was shown to everyone passing by.
Back then, Gianna and Kaylee’s unique designs and ingenious matching made them an instant hit in the circle of wealthy ladies in Silver City, and many girls also paid close attention to them.
Before the boutique officially opened, there was a long queue at the door. Rich ladies from prominent families waited in line according to the reservation number.
Gianna was also called out by Kaylee from the company today to help match clothing for the
customers.
The whole morning was quite busy. At noon, it was time for lunch, so there were fewer customers. Gianna and Kaylee rested wearily on one side.
Kaylee hugged Gianna’s arm. “Baby, does today feel like what we used to do?”
“Yes, it seems we have returned to three years ago.” Gianna smiled slightly and touched Kaylee’s face. “Baby, it’s good that you are still by my side.”
“Me, too.”
Kaylee went upstairs to check the situation and asked Gianna to rest for a little longer. Sitting on the sofa alone, Gianna caught a glimpse of Alaia and Naomi inadvertently. Alaia was dressed in a luxurious out–of–season dress and was continuously taking selfies with a camera in the store. She then edited the photos and arranged them into a grid of nine, accompanied by a short message. [Got carried away with shopping at this top–notch boutique…]
After posting on social media, she dragged Naomi to look around, completely excited.
Alaia picked up a high–end dress in vogue worth one million eight hundred thousand dollars and looked at Naomi with longing eyes. “Naomi, do I look good in this?”
In other words, Alaia wanted Naomi to buy it for her because Naomi was Levi’s girlfriend and a wealthy lady.
Naomi naturally understood what Alaia meant, but she was really short of money currently. The last time she spent 30 million dollars on a bracelet, her bank card was maxed out, and now she was in a difficult period.
Even if she wanted to show off in front of Alaia, she didn’t have enough money.
Naomi could only pretend that she didn’t understand what Alaia meant and went to look at other things.
Alaia felt bored and snorted in a low voice. If it hadn’t been for the tight allowance, she would have been willing to beg Naomi like this.
As soon as Alaia turned around, she saw Gianna sitting alone. She hurriedly pulled Naomi’s arm, and the two walked over there.
“Hey, who is this? The abandoned woman is also eligible to come in and purchase.” Alaia curled her lips and looked around. “It seems that this boutique is not very high–end.”
Gianna was a little tired and didn’t bother to argue with the annoying Alaia and Naomi in front of her, so her tone was firm. “Since you think it’s low–end, go out and turn left.”
Alaia was annoyed. She yelled loudly with her hips on her hips like a vixen, “What right do you have to drive me away? I’m a customer here!”
Then she beckoned to a shop assistant. “Ask the store manager here! I want to complain that you deliberately lowered the standard of customers and destroyed my shopping experience!”
Gianna folded her arms, brushed a wisp of hair on her forehead with her fingertips, and snorted coldly, “It’s me.”
Alaia was so shocked that she couldn’t close her mouth, and her face was full of disbelief. “You? Are you the manager?”
“Is it interesting to lie to me?” Alaia came back to her senses and refused to believe it.
Gianna sneered, “Are you worthy?”
Alaia was putting on airs. Being retorted by Gianna, she was dumbfounded and speechless. Naomi/gave a soft smile and walked forward. “Mrs. Rivera, since you are the manager of the boutique, you should have good taste for matching. Can you help me match a bright outfit? I will wear it when I get the marriage license in two days.”
She thought, “Gianna cheated me out of 30 million dollars last time. I should let her serve me once, so I will vent my anger a lot.”
Gianna’s red lips showed a mocking smile, and her eyes were indifferent. She sat still on the sofa. “What? As the manager, you don’t even receive your customers, do you?” Naomi further provoked Gianna.
“I can receive you.” Gianna got up from the sofa but just stood there without making any further moves. “I remember… The two of you don’t seem to be among the customers who made an appointment today.”
Naomi and Alaia blushed immediately, panicked because of being exposed.
The two of them were indeed not among the customers who had made an appointment. They bought the reserved quotas from others at a high price just to join in the fun today.
