Chapter 7
The child told the most vicious plan in his innocent voice. I clenched my hands tightly, and my sharp nails pierced deeply into my palms. It was because of these people that I completely lost my baby!
Cody’s eyes were red as he stared at Emma and Damian. Damian was frightened by him and just hugged her mother, but she was completely panicked at this time. She stepped forward and tried to grab Cody, but was thrown away fiercely.
Cody said word by word, “Emma Green! Good, very good, it turns out you have been treating me like a fool!”
Emma’s face was full of tears, “No, Cody, it’s not like that. Damian is just talking nonsense, kids speak without restraint…”
Damian stamped his feet fiercely and said in dissatisfaction, “Damian is not talking nonsense! Mom, when can I call Uncle Walker dad? Are you going to push her down the stairs…”
“Bang!” A heavy slap sounded. In order to stop the kid from continuing speaking, the supporting actress raised her hand and slapped her own son hard!
Damian burst into tears instantly and started punching and kicking Emma. Although he was just a child, he hit her very hard and even jumped up and hit her with his head.
She finally reaped the fruits of her own actions!
I watched this farce coldly, and finally Cody called the security guards to catch the two of them.
Emma cried and apologized repeatedly, hoping that Cody would forgive her, but he said coldly, “Throw them out.”
“Emma Green, just wait and see. From now on, I, Cody Walker, will make sure you live a horrible life.”
Emma and Damian were dragged out like garbage. Cody then turned his head to look at me. I looked into his moist eyes and asked, “Is it time to sign?”
He walked over slowly, “Yes, I am not worthy of being your husband. I was deceived by her. I didn’t expect a child to be so vicious. Are you willing to give me a chance to make amends?”
I was silent. Until today, he was still making excuses for himself. Until today, he was unwilling to apologize for what he had done!
My patience was finally worn out, and I reached out and knocked on the table, staring at him without saying a word.
Cody reminded at the right time, “Mr. Walker, it’s time to sign.”
He glared at Dale, but the latter always had a decent smile on his face. Cody signed the divorce agreement, and Dale put the things away, then said, “I will contact you after

the property is counted. Miss Monica, do you have any other requests?”
I shook my head. At this time, Cody came forward and tried to pull me, but was cleverly moved away by Dale. He grinned at Cody and said, “Mr. Walker, you don’t want to be sued in court because of sex violation, do you?”
Cody looked at the lawyer in disbelief, “Are you threatening me?”
Dale licked his lips and said, “No, I’m just reminding you. Of course, if you feel offended, you can sue me at any time, or ban me from the industry, as long as you can do it.”
I watched with satisfaction as he was humiliated. He didn’t find another chance to talk to me until I left. On the way back, I looked at Dale with some worry, and he understood my expression.
He smiled at me playfully, “I am also a rich second–generation. It would be best if he doesn’t provoke me. If he does provoke me…
He paused for a moment, then said, “Wait a moment.”
I saw him get off the car, and soon he brought me a cup of hot tea with hot milk. He handed it to me and said, “I see you haven’t had any water today. You don’t hate ginger, do you?“.
“Thank you.” I took the cup of hot milk and couldn’t help feeling grateful to him.
I said goodbye to Dale and watched the elevator slowly rise. Once I was alone and quiet, I couldn’t help but think of the child. “Ding…”
The elevator door slowly opened, and outside stood someone I didn’t expect.
